Hörsjöns Camping

In Gislaved Municipality in Småland, right by the village of Smålandsstenar, you will find the charming Hörsjöns Camping.
Hörsjöns Camping offers approximately 42 pitches with electricity. There are also a number of larger and slightly more secluded spots where you can put up a tent. In addition, you will find cosy cabins equipped with all the modern facilities you may need for a successful camping holiday. Hörsjöns Camping has a beautiful fishing pond where you can catch the day's lunch or dinner for a small fee. It is also possible to book the tennis courts that are located near Hörsjöns Camping. For those who prefer other activities, there is beach volleyball, a mini golf course and a small outdoor gym. As a guest at Hörsjöns Camping, you also have access to the sauna, which is open both during Hörsjöbadet's opening hours and after the bath has closed. The sauna can be hired at the reception.

Right next to Hörsjöns Camping in Smålandsstenar you will find Hörsjöbadet, which has a fantastic swimming facility. It is open all summer and gives you as a visitor the opportunity to jump from the pool, exercise swimming or just lie and laze in the grass. There is also a small paddling pool for the little ones. Of course, there are always lifeguards on site. As a camping guest you get a discount on the entrance fee.

One of Sweden's national parks, Stora Mosse, is located here. It is the most extensive and also largely untouched raised bog in the whole of Sweden. A full 8000 hectares in size.

You will also find Isaberg Mountain Resort, which offers a packed action menu with everything from obstacle courses, high-altitude courses, mountain bike courses and adventure golf. You'll also find Sweden's highest jump zone for MTB, lift-borne cycling with several kilometres of easy and fun trails. There is also a sauna raft that is immensely popular here. An electrical outlet for music or mobile phone charging is available. Booking is required.

As a resident of Hörsjöns Camping, you are also close by for a day trip to Ullared and High Chaparral's western park. Local flea markets also take place during the summer in Smålandsstenar, ask at reception for the current programme.

Hörsjöns Camping is open from 1 May to 31 August. The reception is open from nine o’clock in the morning until nine o’clock in the evening. Naturally, however, your hosts are always just a phone call away. The best way to get to Hörsjöns Camping is by car, motorhome or caravan. Smålandsstenar also has a train and bus station with good connections to

larger cities in the country. Please remember to book this Småland gem well in advance, as Hörsjöns Camping is a popular destination for both Swedish and international guests.
