Right next to the Kartoffelalm in Kleinvach, a district of Bad Sooden-Allendorf, you will find spacious pitches with everything you need for a comfortable break: electricity, water, Wi-Fi and waste disposal are included.

The atmosphere is informal, rural and wonderfully relaxed. For families, there is a playground for children, ideal for running around and exploring. If you are looking to cool off, there is a water treading area with fresh spring water right on the site - perfect for hot days. There are also plenty of culinary delights on offer: enjoy regional specialities in the cosy Zur Linde restaurant - the potatoes from Kleinvach are of course especially recommended!

For motorhome travellers, this site is not only a place to stay, but also a real experience. The proximity to nature, the regional products in the farm shop and the loving design make the Kartoffelalm an insider tip for connoisseurs and those seeking peace and quiet.

The area surrounding the Kartoffelalm invites you to relax and explore. The traditional spa town of Bad Sooden-Allendorf is only 3 km away and offers everything a holidaymaker's heart desires: cosy old town streets, half-timbered romance and the famous Werratal thermal baths with brine bath, sauna area and wellness offers.

Nature lovers can look forward to well-signposted hiking and cycling trails that lead through the gently rolling hills of the Werra-Meißner district. The Frau-Holle-Land Geo-Nature Park is very close by and offers fascinating insights into the natural and cultural landscape of northern Hesse. A walk along the Werra or a visit to the romantic Hanstein castle ruins are always worthwhile.

Please note that grey water and toilet disposal is not possible directly on the site, but in Bad Sooden-Allendorf, 3 km away. However, the pitches themselves are fully equipped with electricity, water and WiFi - perfect for self-catering motorhomes or campervans.

Dogs are welcome, children can let off steam in the playground and anyone who loves regional specialities should definitely visit the farm shop or stop off at the Gasthaus Zur Linde Kleinvach. Especially in the warmer months, the water treading area with spring water offers a refreshing opportunity to relax.
