Karvion camping

The beautiful campsite is located near the monasteries of Valamo and Lintula. The site is located by the Karvionkoski gullies, right next to the Kermajärvi Nature Reserve. The campsite has showers, toilets, barbecue facilities, sometimes karaoke and a midsummer cocktail! The site is pet-friendly. There is also a LAPPSET playground for children and fun events during the summer, such as the Ronttsiaiset (follow on Facebook).

SUP boats, boats and kayaks can also be rented in the area. From Midsummer onwards (Tues-Sat), regular cruises to Valamo and other destinations are organised from our campsite, operated by the 84-seater m/s Sergei. The boat has A-rights. Our campsite also has a top-class restaurant serving delicious pizza, burgers and salads. The restaurant has a large terrace and A-rights.

Follow the picturesque Virranniemi Nature Trail, which starts from the corner of the campsite, and immerse yourself in enchanting forests and national landscapes.
