Kilen Camping

Kilen Camping offers various accommodation options such as tent pitches, campsites and cabins, and is a holiday paradise for the whole family. Here you will find something for both young and old! Kilen Camping has a wonderful location right down by the idyllic Flåvatn by the Telemark Canal.

At Kilen Camping you will find a long, child-friendly sandy beach of 250 metres, with bathing temperatures that are normally between 20-25 degrees. In the water you can enjoy yourself with a water trampoline, water slides and bathing platforms, which make Kilen Camping the perfect choice for a beach holiday! If you are not fond of the deep, you can dive straight into the depths from one of our 2 jetties.

There are also good fishing opportunities in Flåvatn. For the best fishing luck, bring your own fishing rod and hire a boat with us.

The surrounding area offers many great hiking opportunities, and in season you can pick both mushrooms and berries in the forest.

With us you can enjoy fantastic Norwegian nature at its best, sunbathe and take a bath whenever you want. Cabin, sauna and boat can be booked in advance at www. nykelamping.no to ensure that it is available when you arrive.

The cafe is open every day in July. The rest of the year the café is open on weekends May - October. In the café you can buy kiosk goods and dinner. Groceries are recommended to be bought before you arrive.

In the service house there are showers/toilets/washing machine and a small kitchen with stove. Both shower and washing machine are paid for by card.

On the sandy beach you will find a volleyball court, and water slides and a trampoline have been set up in the water! Right next to the beach is one of Kilen Camping's playgrounds. Here you can slide and slide, or play pirate in the pirate ship that faces the water.
