Klackskärs Camping

Welcome to **Klackskärs Camping!** We are a quiet and scenic family campsite in northern Roslagen, surrounded by beautiful archipelago surroundings and a town rich in history. It offers a perfect combination of relaxation and activities for the whole family. The campsite is close to the marina and the town centre, and from here you can explore the old quarter with its cosy shops, cafés, restaurants, swimming, fishing and activities. Östhammar is a perfect base for reaching all the charming archipelago communities and mill towns rich in history of the Roeselare region.

Camping pitches

We have 163 electric pitches for caravans, motorhomes or tents and about 45 pitches without electricity. Our large, flat grass pitches are perfect for even the largest vehicles, and there are beautiful natural campsites along the shoreline. Check-in for the camping pitches is at 13:00 and check-out at 12:00.

Cabins

The campsite has 18 4-bed cabins of a simpler model. They have a fridge, hob, utensils, duvet and pillow. Bed linen can be rented for SEK 150 / person and final cleaning costs SEK 600. All cottages are non-smoking (including the terraces). Pets are welcome for an extra charge of SEK 100 per day. 2 of the cottages are pet-free but not allergy-sanitised. Check-in in the cottage is from 15:00 and check-out no later than 12:00

Service buildings

There are 2 service buildings on the site with toilets, showers, laundry room, kitchen and latrine emptying. At our service buildings there is also waste sorting for paper packaging, plastic packaging, metal packaging, glass, food waste and residual waste. We ask all our guests to sort their waste and remember that it is not allowed to throw away bulky waste such as furniture and barbecues with us.

There is something for everyone in our neighbourhood!

Swimming: Sunbathe and swim at our child-friendly beach inside the campsite or walk the short distance to Krutudden's bathing area with beach, bathing jetties and beach volleyball.

Kayak/SUPAtKrutudden's bathing area it is also possible to rent a kayak or SUP to experience Östhammar from the water. https://krutudden.se/

Mini golfNext to the reception you will find our mini golf course.

Disc golfOnthe powder spit right next to the campsite there is a brand new disc golf course. It is free to play and for those who do not have their own discs, they are available for rent at the reception.

PlayAlarge and beautiful playground worth a visit in itself is located at Sjötorget, about 300 metres from the campsite. Inside the campsite there is a simpler playground with swings.

Exercise: There is a large outdoor gymrightnext to the playground at Sjötorget, and for those who prefer to put on their running shoes or take a walk, there are beautiful walking paths and trails.

Fishing: Östhammar is a good starting point for fishing from both land and boat. In our small shop in the reception you can buy simple fishing gear and here you can also rent a fishing kayak.

Golf: For golf enthusiasts, there is an 18-hole course just five kilometres away https://www.oregrundsgk.com/

Eating.

Take a short stroll along the marina and you'll reach the lake square with several restaurants and shops. Continue your walk another couple of hundred metres along Östhammar's small streets and you will find the town hall square and surrounding small streets with more restaurants, bakeries, shops and of course Shram's gelato which is the winner of the ice cream championship.

At our reception you can buy ice cream, drinks and sweets and next to the reception you will find a restaurant serving Chinese and Thai food, with full rights.

Our reception and shop are located at the entrance to the campsite. Opening hours vary during the season

Self check-in is available 24 hours a day if you use our online booking service. Please note that if you intend to check in outside reception opening hours, you must notify us by 18:00 the day before.
