Kullholen Gård

Welcome to Kullholen Gård, an idyllic place located in the beautiful landscape of Dalarna, near Borlänge. Here we, Anders and Therese, live together with our beloved animals - a bunch of birds, our Norwegian forest cats and a sheltie. Our farm is a home for us and our animals, where we offer a unique experience for everyone who wants to get close to nature and rural life.

The farm, which we took over in 2008, has a long history dating back to 1896 and even earlier. Since the takeover, we have continuously renovated and developed the farm with respect for its history and with an eye for modern comfort, all under the motto "You start and then you see".

To our guests we offer the possibility of a quiet place to stay during their journey. With a rural feel and yet close to the city, our farm is a cosy idyll.

From Kullholen Gård there is a short distance to Borlänge, a centre in Dalarna that offers a rich variety of cultural and recreational activities. There are restaurants serving both local and international food, cosy cafés, and a wide range of shops for shopping.

For nature lovers, there are plenty of beautiful hiking trails and bathing areas nearby, where you can enjoy the magnificent nature of Dalarna. In addition, other Dalarna attractions such as the Falu copper mine and the Carl Larsson farm in Sundborn are not far away.

Our farm's surveillance through internet-connected video cameras ensures the safety of both animals and visitors. Remember to pack for the changeable Swedish weather and that shoes suitable for country life can be useful.
