For motorhome travellers, there are designated pitches with electricity, where the stay takes place in harmony with nature - latrine emptying takes place at Frösö Camping, about 3 km away. Toilets are available during the high season, from 1 June to 15 October, at the charming croft.

The guest harbour offers safe mooring with clear rules for mooring, and is a popular stop for boat enthusiasts during summer sailing trips. Electricity is included in the price of motorhome parking, and barbecue areas are available for cosy evenings under the stars - but only in designated areas. It is also possible to settle down in shelters or use the common areas available in season.

Kungsgårdsviken is strategically and beautifully located, with Östersund city centre only about 10 minutes away by car or bike. Here you can enjoy a wide range of restaurants, cafés, shops and cultural experiences, including Jamtli - Jämtland's county museum - and Storsjöbadet for the whole family.

If you prefer to stay in nature, there are plenty of hiking trails, cycle paths and swimming spots in the area. Take a walk along the shoreline, enjoy the sunset over Lake Storsjön or go for a paddle in calm waters. In winter, Frösön also offers ski trails and outdoor activities, making it attractive all year round.

For golf enthusiasts, Frösö Golf Club is just a few minutes away, and Frösö Airport is within 15 minutes for those travelling from afar. With its combination of nature, proximity to the city and unique tranquillity, Kungsgårdsviken is a place that will quickly become a favourite.

To ensure that everyone enjoys Kungsgårdsviken, there are a few simple but important guidelines to be aware of. The area is completely car-free, which contributes to the calm and peaceful atmosphere - but it also means that packing and transport is on foot from the designated car park.

For motorhome travellers, vehicles may only be parked in marked spaces, and latrine emptying takes place at Frösö Camping. Electricity is included in the price, but it is important to show consideration for other guests, keep dogs under supervision and use rubbish bins or take your waste home. Barbecues are only allowed in designated barbecue areas, and disposable barbecues must be taken home.

The toilets at the croft are open between 1 June and 15 October. Boats in the guest harbour must be moored correctly with the bow or stern facing the jetty, and only three marked moorings are allowed for long-term mooring.
