Les Écuries de la forêt d’Orient

Welcome to the Écurie de la Forêt d'Orient, a haven of peace nestling between forest and plain, right next to the famous Lac d'Orient, in the Forêt d'Orient Regional Nature Park. This family-run equestrian establishment welcomes travellers in search of nature, peace and simplicity, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The establishment has 6 pitches, mainly for motorhomes, vans or vehicles equipped with roof tents, set in a green and serene environment. The setting is ideal for lovers of horses, wide open spaces and silence.

The facilities are designed with your comfort in mind: **Clubhouse toilets available (€2/person/day),** as well as a jacuzzi accessible according to the weather and on reservation, with a supplement of €5/person.

As the site is dedicated to the well-being of animals and campers, dogs are not allowed, in order to preserve the tranquillity of the horses and ensure a peaceful stay for all. Guests are welcome until 8pm, with a great sense of hospitality: the owners are renowned for their kindness and sincere attention to their guests.

Situated in the heart of nature and just a few minutes from Lac d'Orient, l'Écurie is an excellent base for hiking, cycling and enjoying the lake's beaches. You can swim, paddle, sail, fish, kayak or simply picnic by the water.

The Regional Nature Park boasts exceptional flora and fauna, ideal for birdwatchers and photographers. Just a 20-minute drive away, you can discover Troyes, a city of art and history, with its medieval town centre, half-timbered houses, museums and gourmet restaurants.

Around the village of Dosches, you'll also find grocery shops, bakeries, country restaurants and small local markets, perfect for sampling the local produce of the Champagne region.

The Écurie de la Forêt d'Orient offers a simple, natural and ethical welcome, with a focus on respect for animals and the environment. It is advisable to book in advance, particularly during the summer months and at long weekends.

Arrivals are accepted until 8pm, and the pitches are not delimited but organised to preserve everyone's privacy. The **jacuzzi is **to be booked on site depending on the weather - a real bonus after a hike or a day by the lake!

Please note that dogs are not allowed on the property, for reasons of safety and serenity, making the Écurie a particularly peaceful place to meditate, read or rest.
