Les Sauges

The campsite is on a human scale, with 6 pitches for tents, vans or motorhomes. Ideal for those who want to camp in a tranquil setting, in complete simplicity. The site is a mixture of grass and gravel, and is equipped with electric sockets, a water point, clean toilets and a space for emptying waste water. Dogs are welcome, making it a perfect stopover for accompanied travellers.

More than just a campsite, this place is also a creative bubble. It attracts thinkers, artists and craftspeople, and invites everyone to draw inspiration from the surrounding nature to create, relax or reconnect with themselves. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and respectful of the environment.

The village of Dettey, just a few minutes from the campsite, is a little rural gem in Burgundy, perched at an altitude of over 500 metres, offering magnificent panoramic views of the Morvan hills. Here you'll find a local restaurant serving local cuisine, as well as hiking trails leading directly from the village.

The Morvan region is renowned for its lakes, dense forests, medieval villages and cultural heritage. Less than 30 minutes away by car, explore the Gallo-Roman town of Autun, with its amphitheatre, cathedral and museums. Farmers' markets, flea markets and craft workshops are commonplace in the surrounding area.

Whether you're a keen hiker, cyclist, nature photographer or simply curious to discover authentic Burgundy, you'll find a natural and peaceful playground here.

Remember to book in advance, especially in high season, as the number of pitches is limited. The campsite charges a fee, and is open to both motorhomes and tents. There is no mini-market or supermarket on site: plan your groceries in advance, or visit the local shops in neighbouring villages.
