Livagården – Ställplats & Boende

Welcome to Livagården – a peaceful, nature-oriented location in Hillsand, surrounded by forest and close to Ströms Vattudal. Here you can stay overnight in a motorhome, caravan or tent and enjoy the tranquillity, nature and life by the water.

The site offers pitches with optional electricity, toilet, shower and fresh water. We also have a small kiosk selling drinks, water, ice cream and sweets.

For those wishing to experience more, there is a wood-fired sauna, kayak and rowing boat available for hire. By the lake there is a jetty and opportunities for both swimming and fishing, and on the grounds there are barbecue and campfire areas.

Livagården is suitable both for those who simply need a quiet overnight stay along the way and for those who wish to stay a few days and experience the nature of northern Jämtland.

Livagården is located close to nature in Hillsand, approximately 50 km from Strömsund. The area is characterised by forests, lakes, and excellent opportunities for outdoor activities.

At Ströms Vattudal there are opportunities for swimming, sauna, and fishing, and the surrounding area is well suited for hiking, cycling, and nature experiences. Livagården is also a convenient stop for those travelling onwards towards the Wilderness Road (Vildmarksvägen) and northern Jämtland.

Livagården is a small, nature-oriented farm offering simple and personal service. The motorhome pitches are on grass, and electricity is available as an optional extra. Fresh water and toilets are available, while showers are offered for a small fee.

In addition to pitches, we also rent out a cabin and rooms for those who prefer more traditional accommodation.

There are excellent opportunities for swimming and fishing in the lake. Please note that a fishing permit may be required depending on where you fish.

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept under supervision, and consideration must be shown towards other guests and the animals on the farm.
