The site offers a limited number of bookable pitches for motorhomes, as well as additional spaces when required. Despite its compact size, the marina offers full facilities: modern WC and shower areas, waste disposal for toilet cassettes, fresh water, electrical outlets, battery charging, and the possibility of basic battery service. The service shop is open on weekdays all year round, with extended opening hours during the summer season.

Staying at a marina means a very special atmosphere – particularly during the boating season when numerous sailing yachts, motorboats and even the vessels of renowned circumnavigators call in. It is a pleasure in itself to sit with your morning coffee and watch Marström’s elegant catamarans and other fascinating boats glide by. During the low season, the boatyard operations take over, providing a tranquil yet captivating spectacle of boat hoists, machinery, and early-rising launch crews.

Just a stone's throw from the pitches you'll find the archipelago terminal, where you can hop on the M/S Bella for an island-hopping day trip via Rågö, Hasselö and Idö - all the way to Västervik. Bicycle? Yes, take it with you and discover the islands at your own pace!

The village also has an ICA shop, pharmacy, post office, sailing school, swimming spots and a classic campsite. Everything is within easy walking or cycling distance of the marina, making everyday life easy even on holiday. For those who like to swim or fish, there are fine cliffs, sandy beaches and good opportunities for both summer and winter fishing - including ice fishing when the ice settles.

The archipelago environment around Loftahammar is particularly inviting for nature lovers, photographers and birdwatchers. The peaceful surroundings offer beautiful walking trails, quiet evenings and starry nights - the perfect complement to a relaxed holiday.

Loftahammar's Shipyard & Marina is open all year round - but the archipelago follows its own seasons. Summer is lively with shops open even on Saturdays and boating in every direction. During autumn, winter and spring it gets quieter - perfect for those seeking total relaxation, winter fishing or just wanting to get away from it all.

Toilet codes are easily obtained once you've paid via the app or in-store. It's important to note that the flushing area is monitored by cameras - so emptying vehicle tanks or similar is not allowed there.

As the area is also a fully functioning shipyard, especially during spring and autumn, both staff and machinery move around the area. We therefore ask all guests to keep an eye on children, pets and - not least - curious adults.
