Lyngholt Familie Camping

Lyngholt Familiecamping is a scenic and family-friendly campsite located in the north of Bornholm, just 750 metres from the coast. With approximately 200 units divided into cabins, luxury shelters and pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, Lyngholt offers a varied and flexible stay for every type of guest. Surrounded by 80,000 m² of peaceful forest and located in the heart of the wild nature of Slotslyngen, the site gives guests direct access to adventure and relaxation in the great outdoors.

On-site facilities are extensive and modern: two heated communal kitchens, fridge and equipment box hire, cosy living areas with TV, library and games area, washing machine and tumble dryer. For children there are playgrounds with bouncy castles, a football pitch, mooncar track, mini golf and a heated pool area with a children's pool and slide. There are barbecue areas and fire pits where guests can enjoy cosy summer evenings with communal dining and music.

Lyngholt Familiecamping is located in the middle of some of Bornholm's most spectacular nature. From the campsite you can hike directly on marked trails through Slotslyngen and onwards to sights such as Hammershus castle ruins, Opalsøen, Vang Granitbrud and the idyllic fishing village of Sandvig. All within a short distance.

The surrounding nature offers rock formations, forests, lakes and open spaces - a true paradise for hikers, mountain bikers and nature lovers. Action-packed activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, zip lines and tree climbing can be found just a few kilometres away. For a dip in the Baltic Sea, there are several beautiful beaches nearby, including Sandvig, Vang and Hammerhavn.

Guests can also cycle to nearby towns such as Allinge-Sandvig or Hasle, where you'll find cosy cafés, craftsmen, ice cream parlours and specialty shops. Bornholm offers a wide range of cultural and culinary experiences - most of which can be reached in a day trip from the campsite.

Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by friendly staff who are happy to help with tips on hiking routes, activities and experiences in the area. The campsite is manageable and safe for families with children, and there is always something to do - both organised and on your own.

It's a good idea to book well in advance during the high season, as the campsite is popular with first-time visitors and regulars alike. Electricity connection, access to the pool, kitchen and shower are included in your stay, and fridge and equipment hire is available. Dogs are welcome on site, so the whole family can join in.

The reception has maps of the area and is happy to give advice on everything from beaches to the best fishing spots.
