Welcome to Majveka Gård – a nature-close oasis in the heart of the Skåne countryside, just a stone’s throw from Hörby. Here you stay on a charming farm where tranquillity, animals and nature create a relaxing atmosphere far from the stress of everyday life. With large open areas, a lush garden and the opportunity to enjoy both sunrises and birdsong, your stay will be a memory for life.

This is a private farm with only two simple pitches consisting of a mown grass area at the back of the farm. You avoid crowds and can enjoy seclusion and silence. There are excellent opportunities to relax outdoors – have coffee in the garden, make use of the barbecue area for pleasant evenings, or take a walk around the fields.

On the farm you can also meet our dog Cava, our cat Siri, and our hens and Muscovy ducks – something that both children and adults appreciate. Would you like to take a piece of the farm home with you? The farm’s own products are available for purchase, such as fresh eggs and locally produced honey from our own beehives.

This is a private farm with only two simple parking spaces consisting of a mowed lawn at the back of the farm. You will avoid crowds and can enjoy privacy and silence. There are good opportunities to relax outdoors – have a coffee in the garden, borrow the barbecue area for cozy evenings or take a walk around the plantations.

Just 15 minutes away you will find everything you need - from grocery stores and pharmacies to nice restaurants in Hörby. For those who want to swim, there are several options: Ringsjön's bathing area is only 20 minutes away, and both Vombsjön, Lomma beach and Haväng's coastline can be reached in less than an hour.

For those who love hiking, Fulltofta hiking area is recommended, one of Skåne's most popular nature reserves. There are trails of varying difficulty, beautiful views and picnic areas. Övedskloster, with its historic manor house setting, is also nearby and is perfect for an excursion.

For a more botanical experience, a visit to Flyinge Plantshop is a must - perfect for those who appreciate gardens and greenery. Whether you're travelling with children, a partner or alone, there's something for all interests within easy reach of the farm.

Before your stay at Majveka Gård, it may be useful to know that you are in the heart of the Scanian cultural landscape – so bring comfortable shoes and perhaps a blanket for a picnic in the countryside. The site is small and family-run, which means that as a guest you receive a personal experience, but it also means that pitches are quickly booked up during popular periods. Make your reservation well in advance to secure your spot!

The farm has no fixed check-in hours, but the owners are reachable by mobile phone and are happy to assist you upon arrival. Electricity (PLEASE NOTE: not for charging electric vehicles) is available; feel free to enquire in advance if you have specific requirements.

If you wish to prepare your own meals, barbecue facilities are available.
