Malmköpings Bad & Camping

Malmköpings Bad & Camping is located amidst ancient castles and manor houses in the heart of Sörmland. Here you can relax in a peaceful and scenic environment without having to compromise on comfort - this campsite has it all.

There are 175 beautiful camping pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents on the site. There are also 11 chalets of varying sizes and standards. All but one of the cabins are equipped with a fridge, microwave, hob and basic cooking utensils. These are located right at the entrance to the Trumslagarskogen nature reserve. There are two service buildings in the area: a smaller one that is open during the summer with a toilet, shower room and family room, and then the large five-star service building that is very fresh and of a high standard. At Malmköpings Bad & Camping there are plenty of activities and excursions to do. The child-friendly sandy beach that runs the length of the campsite attracts not only people who live at the campsite, but also people from the surrounding area. There are large grassy areas, jetties, diving towers, beach volleyball, adventure golf, tennis courts and playgrounds. At reception you can hire a canoe or pedalo for a trip on the lake. During the summer, car bingo is organised with great prizes.

If you want to rent a luxurious sauna, it is possible to do so. There is a massage shower, a cosy relaxation area with TV, stereo and fridge for you and up to 10 people. For bookings contact the reception.

The restaurant has full rights and serves everything from prawn sandwiches to an a la carte menu. The restaurant has a terrace with the best view in Malmköping. On Fridays and Saturdays, troubadours and dance bands play until the early hours. Every morning there are then

freshly baked sandwiches to buy for breakfast. The café, which is adjacent to the restaurant and reception, serves tasty sandwiches and coffee if you want to sit on the outdoor terrace and start your day there.

If you need to supplement something, it can be purchased in the service shop, which has a generous standard range.

The Sörmlandsleden trail, which offers over 1000 km of hiking, winds its way around the campsite and offers great jogging tracks, hiking trails and cycle paths. The terrain is varied and the area offers deep forests, moss-covered hills and quiet lakes. Along some

you'll pass grocery stores if you want to take a break and buy refreshments.

Every year, two markets are held in Malmköping with entertainment and funfairs. The Old Market at the end of May and Malmamarknaden on the last weekend in June attract lots of visitors from Sweden every year. Take the opportunity to bargain and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere.

In winter there is generally plenty of snow and the campsite is right next to two large slalom slopes and a children's slope. Many people also choose to hike around the Sörmlandsleden trail during this part of the year. The luxurious sauna is perfect after a long walk outdoors. In Malmköping, a large Christmas tree is traditionally lit on the first day of Advent every year, and you won't want to miss the annual Christmas market in the square in mid-December.

Malmköpings Bad & Camping is open all year round with full service from midsummer to mid-August. The reception is open from 09:00 - 21:00 during the high season. The facility is adapted for the disabled. If you need WiFi, it is available throughout the property. If you have pets, they are welcome.
