Meretes Garden is an idyllic wellness and retreat center that welcomes guests for accommodation, yoga and spa.

The center is surrounded by beautiful nature - river, fields and forest. There is a garden, patio with barbecue and sun loungers.

Meretes Garden wants to contribute to sustainable tourism. For us, this means focusing on taking care of nature and the environment in the best possible way. By establishing gardens and growing food without the use of chemical pesticides, planting plants that insects need to thrive, reusing buildings, sorting waste at source, etc., we help take care of our planet.

We have built guesthouses using as many natural materials as possible and established a glamping camp with organic cotton tents that guests can stay in from May to October. The facilities are new and state-of-the-art.

Close to the camp there is a bathhouse with shower, toilet and spa facilities. New and modern guest kitchen and living room leading out to a greenhouse for yoga, and further out into the Japanese garden with a carp pond. Aesthetics and a unique atmosphere are key words that describe the entire center. In other words, you get much more than just an ordinary overnight stay when you stay with us.

To ensure our guests get the most out of their stay here in the fjord, we can recommend a range of activities and great places to eat for our guests. We like to collaborate with good providers of various services.

You can get help with everything within nature-based activities at Uteguiden in Valldal. We recommend the climbing park Valldal Activity Park for those who want to have a wonderful day up in a zip line etc.

At Kulå bowling you can of course bowl, but also eat good pizza and GO'2 burger. Try a good a la carte dinner at Valldal Fjordhotell or visit Vikingstova for good food and drinks at Blåtind Boutique Hotel which is peacefully located on Stavsengfjellet.

During a stay at the retreat you can take advantage of great offers in yoga and spa. Overnight guests have sauna and morning yoga included in the price and you can book a massage.
