Naturcamp Lenkgrund is nestled in the unspoilt nature of the Thuringian Forest - a paradise for nature lovers, hikers, mountain bikers and those seeking peace and quiet. Countless hiking trails start right outside your tent door, including the famous Rennsteig, one of the most beautiful long-distance hiking trails in Germany.

Want to be active? Then explore the numerous mountain bike trails in the region or enjoy an extended forest hike with your dog, as four-legged guests are also very welcome here. For families with children, there are exciting forest experiences, wildlife spotting and plenty of space to play and run around.

In the evening, our guests like to gather around the campfire, share stories, bake bread on a stick or end the day under the stars - a truly memorable nature experience.

The region also has a lot to offer culturally: Picturesque villages, traditional half-timbered houses and typical Thuringian gastronomy with hearty cuisine and regional products await nearby.

Naturcamp Lenkgrund is located in Frauenwald, in the centre of the village yet in a quiet location - ideal for anyone looking for a break from everyday life. The campsite is open all year round, so you can experience the region in all its beauty at any time of year - whether in summer with birdsong or in winter with snowshoeing.

The spacious pitches offer plenty of room for individualists and nature lovers. The entire site is floodlit, has electricity connections and is designed to be child-friendly. The paths are level, well-maintained and also suitable for larger vehicles.

Washing machines and tumble dryers will soon be available. Waste separation is very important to us, as is sustainability in everyday life - from green electricity to solar-powered hot water supply.

The village of Frauenwald is just a few minutes away and offers shopping facilities, pharmacies and restaurants. Snacks, drinks and fresh produce are available in our regional shop to satisfy your hunger in between meals.
