Our campsite is picturesquely situated by the Brettmühlenteich pond in the small village of Thiendorf, just a stone's throw from Dresden. Surrounded by forests, meadows and water, you can enjoy a relaxing break from everyday life here - with all the comforts you could wish for as a camper.

Whether you are travelling with a tent, motorhome or caravan or would prefer to stay in one of our comfortable holiday homes - you are guaranteed to find a suitable pitch here. Our spacious pitches have electricity connections, the natural tent meadows offer peace and seclusion, while our cosily furnished bungalows with a view of the pond are particularly popular with families and couples.

The modern and well-maintained sanitary facilities, hot showers, a washing-up area and fresh water and waste water supply ensure maximum camping comfort. Dogs are welcome on the entire site, and we can also provide information material on dog-friendly hiking trails in the region on request.

Particularly practical: In the high season we are available daily from 8:00 to 18:00, in the low season from 8:00 to 16:00 with help and advice. We are happy to answer your questions, booking enquiries or excursion tips at any time!

Those interested in culture can take a trip to Dresden, which is only 35 minutes away. There, world-famous sights such as the Frauenkirche, the Semper Opera House, the Green Vault, Brühl's Terrace and the Zwinger are waiting to be discovered. Just a few kilometres away are the charming towns of Meissen, famous for its porcelain manufactory, and the baroque Moritzburg with its imposing moated castle.

Another highlight of the region is Saxon Switzerland, the impressive Elbe Sandstone Mountains, which are one of the most popular hiking areas in Germany. Spectacular views, rock formations, via ferratas and romantic valleys await you here - a paradise for outdoor fans!

Families with children will also get their money's worth: In the surrounding area you will find numerous wildlife parks, petting zoos, nature trails, leisure parks and even one of the most spectacular zip lines in Germany - the "La Palma" mega zip line in Ciumârna.

Our campsite is open all year round and offers ideal conditions for both short-term guests and long-term campers. Access is easy and also possible with large vehicles. On site you will find plenty of parking spaces, well-kept green areas, well-lit paths and many little extras that will make your stay with us particularly pleasant.

In the summer months, the Brettmühlenteich and other nearby lakes invite you to refresh yourself. In the cooler months, our campsite is the ideal retreat for peace, relaxation and romantic evenings by the campfire - under a breathtaking starry sky, the likes of which you can hardly experience in the city.

Shopping facilities, pharmacies, bakeries and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity in Thiendorf or the neighbouring villages - everything is within easy reach, but far enough away to guarantee absolute peace and quiet on the site.

Those who like to sample regional products will find fresh fruit and vegetables, honey, cheese, meat products and handmade souvenirs at the weekly markets in the area.
