Nyängets Havsbad & Camping

Nyängets Havsbad is the perfect place for those looking for a scenic, family-friendly and relaxed experience by the sea - just 5 kilometres from Örnsköldsvik town centre. Here, right on the seafront, there are 19 camping pitches with electricity, 8 camping pitches without electricity as well as a tent area and a beautiful, child-friendly public sandy beach that invites you to long, sunny days of swimming, playing and socialising. Pitches 8-23 have a gravel surface, while the other pitches have a grass surface. The campsite is unmanned.

There are two **public toilets ** (one of which is adapted for the disabled) and a simple outdoor shower that both beach guests and campers have access to. Please note that the hot water supply is limited. **Water ejectors for tank refilling **and **latrine emptying **are available. The campsite is in the process of starting up, so washing up facilities are not yet ready. There is also a shelter with barbecue area, volleyball net and large green areas for both play and relaxation.

During the summer, our kiosk & café will open, where you can buy everything from ice cream and coffee to burgers and sausages with bread - perfect for a simple lunch or a cosy break in the sun. For our four-legged friends, there's a dedicated dog bathing area, so they can cool off too.

With nature as its nearest neighbour and the sea just 50 metres away from the camping pitches, Nyängets Havsbad & Camping is a place where relaxation meets activity - all year round. Just 2 km away you will find both restaurants and grocery stores, and thanks to the nearby bus stop and nice bike path, you can easily get to the centre of Örnsköldsvik (5 km away). Here you will find shopping, cafés, restaurants, cultural experiences and beautiful views of the High Coast.

If you want to explore nature closer to the campsite, the area offers hiking trails around Bäckfjärden, perfect for a morning walk or evening stroll. In winter, the bay is transformed into a sparkling ice paradise, where a ploughed ice rink invites you to exercise and laugh on the ice - with beautiful views of the coast as a backdrop.

Whatever the season, there's always something to do at Nyänget - here, proximity to the city is combined with the feeling of being in the middle of nature.

The site is open for both short and long stays, and thanks to its proximity to both bus links and a cycle path, it's easy to get to and from the campsite without a car.

If you want to cook your own food, there are good barbecue facilities and the supermarkets are just a couple of minutes away by car. Toilets, showers, latrine emptying and water refilling are easily accessible and well maintained.
