Nyängets Havsbad

Nyängets Havsbad is the perfect place for those seeking a scenic, family-friendly and relaxing seaside experience – just 5 kilometres from the centre of Örnsköldsvik. Here, right on the shoreline, there are 19 pitches with electricity, 8 pitches without electricity, as well as a tent area and a beautiful child-friendly public sandy beach that invites you to long, sunny days of swimming, play and shared enjoyment. Pitches 8–23 have a gravel surface, while the remaining pitches have a grass surface. The campsite is unmanned.

We are currently extending our service building with toilets and showers for our pitch guests, and this will be completed on 1 June. During May it is possible to book at a reduced price, but there will then be no access to showers or dishwashing facilities. During this period, two public toilets will be available, one of which is adapted for persons with disabilities. A water tap for filling tanks and chemical toilet disposal are available. There is also a shelter with barbecue area, a volleyball net and large green areas for both play and relaxation.

During the summer our kiosk & café is open, where you can buy everything from ice cream and pastries to hamburgers and hot dogs – perfect for a simple lunch or a pleasant break in the sun. For our four-legged friends there is a designated dog bathing area, so they can cool off as well.

With nature as your closest neighbour and the sea just 50 metres from the camping pitches, Nyängets Havsbad & Camping is a place where relaxation meets activity – all year round. Here you will find every opportunity for a comfortable and memorable stay, whether you travel by motorhome, caravan, tent, or simply bring a cheerful spirit.

Nyänget is perfectly located for excursions and activities in the neighbourhood. Just 2 km away you will find both restaurants and grocery stores, and thanks to the nearby bus stop and nice bike path, you can easily get to the centre of Örnsköldsvik (5 km away). Here you will find shopping, cafés, restaurants, cultural experiences and beautiful views of the High Coast.

If you want to explore nature closer to the campsite, the area offers hiking trails around Bäckfjärden, perfect for a morning walk or evening stroll. In winter, the bay is transformed into a sparkling ice paradise, where a ploughed ice rink invites you to exercise and laugh on the ice - with beautiful views of the coast as a backdrop.

Whatever the season, there's always something to do at Nyänget - here, proximity to the city is combined with the feeling of being in the middle of nature.

Before you arrive at Nyängets Havsbad, it may be useful to consider a few practical details. During the summer season, demand is high, so we recommend that you reserve your motorhome pitch in advance to secure a site close to the sea. The site is open for both short and extended stays and, thanks to its proximity to both bus connections and a cycle path, it is easy to travel to and from the campsite without a car.

There is no check-in desk with fixed opening hours, which makes your stay feel particularly flexible – but please remember to follow any signs and instructions on arrival. If you wish to cook your own food, there are excellent barbecue facilities, and supermarkets are only a few minutes away by car.
