Nyängets Havsbad

Nyängets Havsbad is the perfect place for anyone seeking a scenic, family-friendly and relaxing seaside experience – just 5 kilometres from central Örnsköldsvik. Here, right on the shoreline, there are 19 motorhome pitches with electricity, 8 motorhome pitches without electricity, as well as a tent area and a beautiful, child-friendly public sandy beach inviting you to long, sunny days of swimming, play and togetherness. Pitches 8–23 have a gravel surface, while the remaining pitches have a grass surface. The campsite is unmanned.

We are currently extending our service building with toilets and showers for our pitch guests, which will be completed in June. Until it is ready, it is possible to book at a reduced rate, but there will be no access to showers or washing-up facilities. During this period, two public toilets will be available, one of which is accessible for disabled guests. Water tap for filling tanks as well as chemical toilet disposal are available. There is also a shelter with barbecue area, a volleyball net and large lawns for both play and relaxation.

In summer our kiosk & café opens, where you can buy everything from ice cream and pastries to hamburgers and hot dogs – ideal for a simple lunch or a pleasant break in the sun. For our four-legged friends, there is a designated dog swimming area, so they can cool off as well.

With nature as its closest neighbour and the sea just 50 metres from the camping pitches, Nyängets Havsbad is a place where relaxation meets activity – all year round. Everything is in place here for a comfortable and memorable stay, whether you are travelling by motorhome, caravan, tent, or simply in good spirits.

Nyänget enjoys a perfect location for excursions and activities in the surrounding area. Within a short walking distance you will find Aktivator Park, which offers a high-ropes course and a wide range of other activities. At a distance of only 2 km you will find both restaurants and grocery stores, and thanks to the nearby bus stop and excellent cycle path it is easy to reach central Örnsköldsvik (5 km away). Here you can enjoy shopping, cafés, restaurants, cultural experiences and beautiful viewpoints over the High Coast.

If you wish to explore nature closer to the campsite, the area offers hiking trails around Bäckfjärden, perfect for a morning walk or an evening outing.

Whatever the season, there is always something to do at Nyänget – here, proximity to the town is combined with the feeling of being surrounded by nature.

Before you arrive at Nyängets Havsbad, it may be useful to consider a few practical details. During the summer season demand is high, so we recommend that you pre-book your motorhome pitch to secure a spot close to the sea. The site is open for both short-term and longer stays, and thanks to the proximity to both bus connections and a cycle path, it is easy to travel to and from the campsite without a car.

There is no check-in desk with fixed opening hours, which makes your stay feel especially flexible – but please remember to follow any signs and instructions upon arrival. If you wish to prepare your own meals, there are excellent barbecue facilities and the grocery stores are just a few minutes away by car.
