Øse Camping

Øse Camping is a charming and natural campsite idyllically situated by the fjord and right on the E6, midway between Tromsø and Lofoten. This makes it a perfect stopover for travellers who want to experience the best of Northern Norway, whether they come with a campervan, caravan, tent or want to rent a cabin or room.

The facility has around 10-15 spaces for campers and caravans, as well as several cozy cabins and rooms for rent. Boats and canoes are also available for rent - perfect for those who want to explore the fjord or try their luck at fishing. There is a small café on site where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a light lunch in peaceful surroundings.

The service house has access to showers and toilets all year round, while the kitchen, laundry room and common room are available outside the winter period (limited from January to March 20). There are also electrical outlets, fresh water and drainage facilities for some units.

Øse Camping is located in the heart of spectacular northern Norwegian nature, giving you easy access to some of the region's most popular destinations. Tromsø is around three hours by car, and the same distance to Svolvær in Lofoten. If you want to explore Senja , it takes only 2.5 hours - a perfect day trip.

For those who enjoy fishing, the fjord right next door offers fantastic opportunities, and the area also has great hiking areas and beautiful mountains. Nearby there are small shops and local eateries in Gratangen and Lavangen, which are 10–15 minutes away by car.

Øse Camping is open year-round, but with somewhat limited access to some facilities during the winter months. The site is child-friendly, quiet and well suited for nature lovers, fishing enthusiasts and those who want to explore Northern Norway at their own pace.

The facility is dog-friendly, but pets are expected to be kept under control. It is easy to get here by car via the E6, and free parking is available. If you want to rent a boat or canoe, it is recommended to book in advance, especially in high season.
