On our small and natural campsite in the beautiful fishing village of Freest everything is a bit crooked and that's good, because our forest should remain forest.

Guests are exactly our thing. We want you to spend a great relaxing time with us.

You can camp with us from mid-April to the beginning of October. We look forward to seeing you :-)

Freest is one of the oldest fishing villages in the region and delights visitors with its maritime flair and picturesque harbour. Here you can not only watch the fishing boats sail in and out, but also buy freshly caught fish straight from the cutter and catch the small passenger and bicycle ferry to Usedom.

If you want to find out more about the history of the Freest fishing carpets, the local history museumopposite the campsite is just the place for you. After all, the fishing carpets were added to the Intangible World Heritage List in 2023 ... it's definitely worth a visit.

The imperial spas on Usedom, the Historical-Technical Museum in Peenemünde and the university and Hanseatic city of Greifswald are also well worth a visit.

The Ostseecamping Peenemündung nature campsite is the perfect place for anyone looking for peace, nature and proximity to the sea - whether young or old, as a family, couple or solo traveller.
