Otra Park

In cooperation with Otra IL, Otra Portal AS now offers motorhome parking and a hostel near Evje town centre (500 m) by our clubhouse facilities.

We have space for 20 motorhomes behind our clubhouse at Evje Stadium, in the direction of Trollbakken (ski jump). The area is scenic and offers a range of activities such as football, beach volleyball, running, orienteering, summer and winter ski jumping, as well as roller skiing (new 3.6 km trail). There is also an 8.8 km floodlit trail.

Sanitary facilities, water filling and power outlets are available to guests, included in the price of NOK 250 per unit per night. It is also possible to empty the toilet into one of the toilets in the “shelter” (for guests only).

The hostel also has 32 beds distributed across 9 lockable bedrooms. There are shared sanitary facilities, kitchen, TV lounge, etc.

The area offers a variety of activities year-round, such as football, beach volleyball, orienteering, running, a new 3.6 km roller ski track, an 8.8 km illuminated track and facilities for both summer and winter ski jumping. Short distance to the Otra River and a swimming beach.

Evje Sentrum is located 500 m away, and boasts a selection of shops in Norgestoppen in relation to the number of inhabitants, many great niche shops and 4 large grocery stores that are open on Sundays in the summer.

There are many options for eating in the village with several cafes and fast food restaurants, we can recommend Pernille cafe and TipTop fast food restaurant with Norway's first Snadderloff. Along the Otra River you will also find the venerable Dølen Hotel, with a restaurant, bar and the valley's most beautiful outdoor seating.

It is within walking distance to the beach and the Furuly outdoor recreation area.

Evje and Hornnes can also offer many exciting activities. Troll Aktiv is located about 7 km north of Evje with Rafting, climbing park, bike park and many other activities for young and old. A little south of Evje is Mineralparken, always a winner with the little ones, lots of fun activities. Norway's most beautiful mineral salt and nice beach. Mineralparken also has a tough climbing park with zipline. Another couple of km further south you will find Evje Gokartbane, once Northern Europe's longest. They have a small track for the little ones with E-Gokarts. Evje and the surrounding area can also tempt you with an eldorado of trips on mountain peaks and in forests and fields - on foot or by bike. There are marked hiking trails, great conditions for cycling in terrain, on paths, gravel and country roads - and in winter we can tempt you with the best hiking trails in Southern Norway at Høgås, only 15 km away, there are over 100 km of trails, which are regularly maintained in the winter.

The premises are located approximately 60 km from Kristiansand.

The motorhome parking area is open from mid-March until the end of October, depending on the weather.

NB! A motorhome pitch cannot be guaranteed when booking in advance. The site is not staffed 24/7, so we have no possibility to reserve pitches. It is also possible to pay with Vipps and in cash.

The hostel is open all year round.
