Welcome to Övre Kattvik – a peaceful place by the sea

Park your motorhome or campervan in a beautiful, quiet setting with views of the sea, hills, fields and valleys.

This is a simple, natural place for independent and self-sufficient travellers. There are no services on site, so you need to have your own toilet, water and electricity.

The ground is slightly uneven due to the natural landscape. We recommend bringing levelling blocks, although we have a couple available to borrow.

Enjoy the peace and fresh sea air, or explore the area on foot or by bike. The Skåneleden trail, Kattegattleden, Båstad, Kattvik harbour and swimming spots are all nearby.

A beautiful place to slow down, enjoy nature and explore the Bjäre Peninsula at your own pace.

From Övre Kattvik you are close to both nature experiences and local attractions. Skåneleden passes nearby and offers beautiful hiking trails through the Scanian landscape.

Båstad, with its cosy cafés, shops and well-known tennis arena, is just a bike ride away and is perfect for a day trip.

For those who want to take a dip or enjoy the sea, there is the small Kattvik harbour within walking distance - an idyllic place for a morning dip or evening walk by the water.

Kattegattleden passes nearby and Båstad to Ängelholm is the most hilly stretch of the route. Cycle through the beautiful landscape of the Bjäre Peninsula, with stunning sea views and rolling farmland along the way.

Here, proximity to activities is combined with the feeling of being surrounded by unspoilt nature.

The caravan parks at Övre Kattvik are quietly located with plenty of space between the pitches, providing both privacy and a sense of freedom. Due to the pretty rolling hills, the ground is a bit uneven, bring leveling blocks or we have a couple to borrow. The place is best suited for the self-sufficient camper wants go go remote, since there are no services at the spot.

The area is quiet and close to nature - perfect for those who want to unwind and get away from the noise of everyday life. Feel free to bring walking shoes and a bike to fully experience the surroundings. Also bear in mind that the site is open and airy, which makes for great views but can be windy on some days - an extra blanket or windproof jacket can be useful. And don't forget your camera - the sunsets here are extraordinary!
