Between Kiruna and Gällivare, beautifully situated in the northern countryside, surrounded by forests, mountains and nature, you will find 2 caravan/caravan pitches in an old meadow next to Piilijärvi Camping. Here you will find a hospitality and relaxed atmosphere you will find hard to find anywhere else.

There are 2 pitches without electricity for motorhomes and caravans. There is no access to a service building or other facilities at Piilijärvi Camping, as these pitches are not included in Piilijärvi Camping's offer but are rented from private landowners.

However, it is possible to book a sauna at Piilijärvi Camping, subject to availability.

As it is an old meadow, there may be holes in the ground from old stones that have been removed, but there are also Indian owls in the meadow, and an old meadow has the charm of many flowers and polenery in the meadow.

To get to the pitches, drive to Piilijärvi Camping and they will guide you to your pitch.

During the summer, Piilijärvi Camping has six cottages for rent in various standards and sizes, all of which have a private car park right outside the door and a private furnished patio with a lake view.

The service building just around the corner has both showers and toilets, which are not included when staying on one of the pitches.

There is also a wood-fired beach sauna where you can end your days together with a dip in the lake, subject to availability.

Piilijärvi Camping is open all year round. Depending on when you visit the campsite, the range of accommodation types varies. Parts of the campsite are adapted for the disabled. The entire area is non-smoking. Dogs are allowed on the site.

The nearest airport is Kiruna Airport, 60 km from the campsite. The nearest grocery store is in Svappavaara (16.5 km) and Skaulo (18 km). We therefore recommend buying everything you might need for your stay.
