Rantajärvi Vildmark

Welcome to Rantajärvi Wilderness. We are open all year round with comfortable and safe cottage accommodation in 5 cosy cottages with 30 beds and nice wooden interiors. All cottages have their own kitchen, toilet, shower and free wifi. On arrival at the accommodation, made beds and 2 towels per person are included and free access to the electric sauna. Around the cottages there are green lawns and a swimming area by the lake. We offer free parking for cars and 5 parking spaces for motorhomes and caravans with 16 amp electricity and rental fee. At the conference centre there are 2 charging points for electric cars with a rental fee. Parking fee with electric power for electric car, motorhome and caravan includes free access to electric sauna, shower and 3 toilets in the service house.

Rantajärvi Wilderness is located in the centre of the village of Rantajärvi with great nature for year-round activities. Naarajärvi wilderness camp is a unique place with silence and without electricity. Book the whole camp or part of it with 4 bed round log cabins, dining cabin and kitchen, wood-fired sauna and barbecue hut, swimming area, canoe, rowing boat, sport fishing and ice fishing on frozen lake ice. There is a 6 km hiking trail that starts and ends in the camp. In winter, snowshoeing, skiing and snowmobiling are offered. The woodlands are excellent for hunting big game and small game. Sport fishing for perch and pike from the lake shore and boat in Lake Rantajärvi. The area around Rantajärvi has several hiking trails of varying lengths.

Rantajärvi Vildmark AB was founded on 29 April 1993 and we cooperate with local companies in the area and it is possible to book visits to reindeer farms and sled dog tours with Siberian husky dogs. Rantajärvi is located 120 km north of Haparanda and 10 km west of the Torne River in Övertorneå municipality.
