Rantakioski

The beach kiosk is located in a beautiful location on the shores of Lake Lappajärvi in Vimpel, offering visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature and the lake scenery. The area is maintained by a local village association and has a community atmosphere and traditional lake nature. During the summer season, from the beginning of June to the end of August, a cosy kiosk is open daily from 10 am to 8 pm.

The area has everything you need for a successful caravan holiday or camping experience: a water toilet and chemical toilet discharge point (closed in winter), a water point from a borehole, a barbecue area and a separate campfire site. Swimming is easily accessible from the pier, and for boating enthusiasts there is the possibility to hire a rowing boat. There are also electricity points in the area, which are easy to find, for example on a map in the camping app.

Rantakioski offers peaceful and natural accommodation for caravanners, campers and boaters alike. With its atmospheric lakeside setting, well-maintained facilities and warm environment, it's a great choice for your next holiday.

A bird tower is located in the immediate vicinity of the beach kiosk, offering a great view of the Lappajärvi basin. For active travellers, there is a fitness tower and an observation tower, which offer a great opportunity to admire the scenery and get a little exercise. You can also rent the village hall for various events.

The legendary Saarikenttä, home field of Vimpelin Veto, is located nearby and attracts baseball fans from all over Finland. Vimpel Church Village, just six kilometres away, offers all basic services, including shops, restaurants and a pharmacy. This makes Rantakiosk an ideal base from which to explore the beauty and culture of the Lake District.

The accommodation fee includes the use of toilets, emptying of chemical toilets, refilling of water and use of the campfire site. Electricity points are available and you can easily find their locations by zooming in on the map in the camping app. The area has a peaceful and natural atmosphere - the perfect place to relax and get away from it all.
