Rantakioski

Rantakioski is located in a beautiful setting on the shore of Lake Lappajärvi in Vimpeli, offering visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy the tranquility of nature and lakeside scenery. The site is maintained by the local village association, and its atmosphere exudes a sense of community and the traditional lakeside environment. During the summer season, from the beginning of June to the end of August, a cosy kiosk serves guests daily from 10:00 to 20:00.

The site offers everything necessary for a successful caravanning holiday or camping stay: flush toilets and a chemical toilet disposal point (closed in winter), a drinking water point connected to the municipal water supply network (groundwater), a barbecue area as well as a separate campfire site. Swimming is easily accessible from the jetty, and rowing boats are available for hire for boating enthusiasts. There are also electric hook-up points on the site, which can be easily located, for example, on the map in camping apps.

Rantakioski provides a peaceful, nature-oriented place to stay, suitable for caravanners, campers and boaters alike. The atmospheric lakescape, well-maintained facilities and welcoming environment make this an excellent choice for your next holiday.

A bird tower is located in the immediate vicinity of the beach kiosk, offering a great view of the Lappajärvi basin. For active travellers, there is a fitness tower and an observation tower, which offer a great opportunity to admire the scenery and get a little exercise. You can also rent the village hall for various events.

The legendary Saarikenttä, home field of Vimpelin Veto, is located nearby and attracts baseball fans from all over Finland. Vimpel Church Village, just six kilometres away, offers all basic services, including shops, restaurants and a pharmacy. This makes Rantakiosk an ideal base from which to explore the beauty and culture of the Lake District.

The accommodation fee includes the use of toilets, emptying of chemical toilets, refilling of water and use of the campfire site. Electricity points are available and you can easily find their locations by zooming in on the map in the camping app. The area has a peaceful and natural atmosphere - the perfect place to relax and get away from it all.
