Welcome to Rörviks Camping - a charming and family-friendly camping idyll located right by the sea, just south of the picturesque fishing village of Hamburgsund in the heart of Bohuslän. With its close-to-nature location and proximity to both salty swimming and cosy coastal experiences, this is an ideal place for relaxation and adventure for the whole family.

The campsite offers a total of 173 camping pitches adapted for caravans, motorhomes or tents - many with a nice sea view. For those arriving without their own accommodation, there are 11 cosy cottages to rent, perfect for both short stays and longer summer holidays. All guests have access to modern service buildings with showers, toilets and laundry facilities - where shower cards are easily collected from reception.

For families with children, there is a child-friendly sandy beach next to the campsite, and for those who like to swim, there is also a jetty with a bathing ladder. Do you have your own boat? Then you can book a berth in advance and enjoy Bohuslän's archipelago from the sea.

At the reception we have a small kiosk with ice cream and drinks. There is also free Wi-Fi in the area so you can easily keep in touch with the outside world - or stream the summer evening film.

Hamburgsund, which is only 1.5 km from the campsite, offers everything you could wish for in a classic Bohuslän coastal community. Here you will find a supermarket (ICA), bank, post office, restaurants, a charming bakery, fish shop, hairdressers, clothes shops, ice cream parlour and much more. Take a walk there or cycle along the beautiful coastal path!

For nature lovers, the proximity to Hamburgö and the vast archipelago is a big plus. Take the ferry across and enjoy the rock pools, rocky outcrops and coastal scenery that only the west coast can offer. From Slottsklippan you get a magical view of the sea and the iconic sea mark Saltskärs Käring.

If you like culture and history, a visit to Gerlesborgsskolan, Svenneby old church and the area's rock carvings are obvious destinations. There are also opportunities for art exhibitions and music events in a unique setting.

Several of Bohuslän's best-loved summer gems are within easy driving distance, making Rörviks Camping the perfect hub for day trips.

On arrival, check-in takes place from 13:00 for campsites and from 15:00 for cottages and rooms. Check-out is no later than 12 noon for all types of accommodation. If you want to do laundry, there is a laundry room on site, where booking is made on site and the washer/dryer is activated with a shower card that you redeem at reception.

Please note that only one car is allowed per campsite. If you have more vehicles with you, you can rent extra parking space at the reception.

The campsite is dog-friendly, but pets must be kept on a lead and are not allowed on the beach.

During the high season there is often a high occupancy rate, so it is advisable to book in advance - especially if you plan to arrive by motorhome or want to secure one of the cosy cottages.
