Rutsbrogården, located in the idyllic village of Rutån just outside Dala-Järna in Vansbro municipality, offers a unique experience for those looking for a nature-based accommodation in the heart of Dalarna. Surrounded by breathtaking nature, the farm is an oasis for those who long for peace and harmony. Our facility is perfect for both short visits and longer stays.

The accommodation consists of two main buildings: the big house and the quaint little cottage. In the big house you will find a spacious 4-bed room downstairs and four smaller rooms upstairs, while the little cottage offers a four-bed apartment downstairs and a cosy two-bed room above. Each unit is equipped with its own kitchen and amenities such as a toilet and shower. For larger groups and events, there is also a party room in our barn, perfect for celebrating special occasions or just socialising.

Rutsbrogården is accessible and we want everyone to be able to enjoy our wonderful farm. Even our four-legged friends are welcome at no extra cost.

The area around Rutsbrogården is a treasure trove for nature lovers. Explore the magical Hästängsleden trail, perfect for hiking, cycling and skiing depending on the season. Fishing enthusiasts will love the proximity to Glatjärn and Västerdalälven. In addition, we are only 6 km from the centre of Vansbro, making it easy to explore local attractions.

At Rutsbrogården, we aim to make your stay as comfortable and carefree as possible. Bed linen and towels are available for hire, but you are welcome to bring your own. For your convenience, we also offer departure cleaning as an additional booking.
