Welcome to Schloss Sigrön Superior Camping and Hotel, a unique retreat in the picturesque countryside of Brandenburg, between Hamburg and Berlin. This historic property, built in 1910, has been lovingly restored and revitalised by Wolfgang and Svenja Schwarte. Today, it combines the charm of times gone by with modern comfort - both in the stylish castle hotel and on the spacious campsite.

The camping area offers well-kept pitches measuring around 120-200 m² - ideal for motorhomes, caravans and campers of all sizes. Each pitch has an electricity connection (16A, 5kWh/day included), water and waste water connection, fast WLAN and - on request - its own private bathroom. For extra comfort, modern sanitary facilities are available centrally on the site. If you prefer something more exclusive, you can hire one of the lovingly restored circus caravans.

A special highlight is the heated wooden outdoor pool, which is open from May to October. The naturally purified water, completely free of chemicals, invites you to take a relaxing dip. Also included is the use of the sauna, which is located in the castle's historic boiler room - with a relaxation area, ice shower and direct access to the garden and pool.

Guests are spoilt with culinary delights in the stylish castle restaurant. From a hearty breakfast to coffee and cake in the afternoon and regional specialities in the evening - the focus here is on indulgence. Charging stations are available for electric car drivers both in the castle car park and in selected parking spaces.

The area surrounding Bad Wilsnack and Sigrön Castle offers a wide range of activities for nature and culture lovers. The Elbe floodplain, which is directly visible from the grounds, invites you to go for walks, birdwatching and cycling tours through a unique river landscape.

Just a few minutes away is the Kristall Kur- und Gradier-Therme Bad Wilsnack thermal baths - ideal for relaxing whatever the weather. The charming little town of Bad Wilsnack itself also offers small shops, cafés, a railway station with connections to Berlin and Hamburg and the famous Church of the Miraculous Blood, an important place of pilgrimage in the region.

Day trips to the surrounding nature and biosphere parks, such as the Prignitz or the Elbe cycle path, one of the most beautiful long-distance cycle paths in Germany, are well worthwhile. The historic town centre of Wittenberge on the Elbe or the pretty Havel town of Havelberg can also be reached in under 30 minutes.

Restaurants, bars and shopping facilities can be found in Bad Wilsnack, around 5 minutes by car from the castle. The region is known for its rural tranquillity, regional produce and diverse birdlife, which makes every stay a special nature experience.

A stay at Sigrön Castle Superior Camping and Hotel promises relaxation and comfort - but there are a few things you should know in advance. The site is open all year round, although the heated outdoor pool is available seasonally from May to October.

Pets are welcome at the campsite, provided they are kept on a lead. However, they are not permitted in the hotel rooms and historic circus wagons. Quiet times are respected - campfires are permitted in designated areas, as are barbecues if you bring your own. There is no clubhouse or evening entertainment - which for many is precisely what makes this quiet place so attractive.

Check-in is possible daily until 8 pm - those arriving later should call in advance. A bread roll service, a small farm shop with regional products and the castle restaurant provide guests with everything they need. Electric cars can be conveniently charged overnight at the charging points.

The castle is available on request for larger groups or events (e.g. weddings, retreats). Those who like to be active can set off on hikes, cycle tours or canoe trips directly from the site.
