Selbu Camping

Welcome to Selbu Camping – an idyllic gem by the Garbergselva River , beautifully situated on the banks of Lake Selbusjøen in Trøndelag. It offers natural and peaceful surroundings, perfect for both short stops and long holiday stays. The campsite has space for tents, caravans, motorhomes and motorbikes , in addition to 19 cozy cabins for those who want a little more comfort.

All the pitches are conveniently located a short distance from the sea and sanitary facilities , and the area is well-equipped for both families and outdoor enthusiasts. In the sanitary facilities you will find enclosed shower and toilet cabins with power outlets , as well as a separate kitchen area with a sink, refrigerator and stove for tent and camping guests.

Children can play on the playground , while adults relax on the barbecue area or take a dip in Lake Selbu . For the adventurous, there are also kayaks for rent , perfect for exploring the water up close. Selbu Camping is open all year round , and during the full-service period from May 1 to October 15 you get extra comfort and accessibility.

Selbu Camping is located in the middle of a scenic and peaceful area, with Lake Selbusjøen as its closest neighbor and mountains and forests on all sides. This is an ideal starting point for fishing, hiking, kayaking and nature experiences in a class of its own . The beautiful Garbergselva offers exciting fishing opportunities, and it is a short distance to several marked trails and lookout points.

Just a 5-minute walk from the campsite is the local shopping center B. Langseth , where you will find everything you need for both short and long stays – from groceries to sports equipment and local crafts.

In the surrounding area there are also opportunities to visit cultural monuments , local farm sales , and small museums that give you insight into Selbu's rich history and traditions. If you enjoy exploring on two wheels, there are nice cycling routes both along the water and inland through forests and fields. Here you get nature, culture and recreation - all in one place.
