Siljansnäs Camping

Welcome to Siljansnäs Camping, a family-oriented campsite beautifully situated by Byrviken, a sheltered bay of Lake Siljan in the heart of Dalarna. Here you stay close to nature, with pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, as well as cabins for those who prefer a little extra comfort.

Enjoy the shallow, child-friendly bathing area, beautiful hiking and cycling trails, and the proximity to Dalarna’s most popular excursion destinations.

Sun–Tue 9:00–20:00

Wed–Sat 8:00–20:00 (on these days you can order breakfast bread)

From Sunday 9 August we are open 9:00–19:00 and it will no longer be possible to order breakfast bread.

Siljansnäs campsite is located 13 km outside Leksand. In the surrounding area you will find, in addition to the beautiful Lake Siljan, a petrol station, grocery store and charming tourist attractions.

If you wish to get out on the lake, rowing boats, Canadian canoes and pedal boats are available for hire at the site.

If you would like something to eat, there are several eateries/cafés in Siljansnäs. There is a pizzeria 900 metres away, the café Gamla Macken only 400 metres away, Snickeri Caféet, as well as Buffils Annas Kaffestuga and Siljansnäs Hotell situated up on Björkberget.

In the area we have toilets, showers, an outdoor kitchen, latrine and grey water disposal (ask the staff), as well as the option to book a laundry room. We have waste sorting where we separate glass, metal, paper, plastic, compost and residual waste.

Siljansnäs Camping is located 13 km from Leksand in the direction of Sollerön and Gesunda. It is a 23-minute drive to Leksand Sommarland and 27 minutes to Tomteland.
