Welcome to Solhag Gård - a unique holiday home close to nature in the heart of Värmland, where rural charm meets modern comfort. The old stable has been carefully converted into a stylish and airy holiday home with its own sauna, lake view, and private swimming area with jetty. Here you live surrounded by forest and water, with the feeling of total privacy - but still close to both services and activities.

Inside, a large and bright living room with a fireplace and a wood-fired pizza oven awaits - perfect for cosy evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, and the sleeping loft offers comfortable beds for up to four people. The modern bathroom has a shower, WC and underfloor heating for extra comfort. In addition, you have access to your own small gym, Wi-Fi, TV and games console - making the accommodation equally well suited to quiet retreats and active family holidays. From the living room, doors lead out to a sunny terrace with lake views, where breakfast or evening tea can be enjoyed in peace.

For those who want to take a dip or sauna by the lake, there is an extra wood-fired sauna by the water, right next to the private jetty. You can also rent canoes, bicycles, snowshoes or fishing equipment to experience nature up close - all year round.

Solhag Gård is located in Ekshärad, surrounded by lakes, forests and wilderness - in the middle of the Värmland landscape. Here there are endless opportunities for those who love to move in nature, regardless of the season. In summer, the Klarälven river attracts paddling, fishing and swimming, and in autumn the forests are transformed into a paradise for mushroom and berry picking. In winter, there are great opportunities for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or just quiet walks in the frosty landscape.

Near the farm is Ekshärads church, one of Sweden's most unique wooden churches with its iconic iron cross, and Brattfallets nature reserve, known for its beautiful waterfall and fine hiking trails. You are also within easy driving distance of shops, restaurants and other amenities in the centre of Ekshärad.

Solhag Gård is located about 5 minutes from central Ekshärad and offers free parking directly outside the house. The accommodation area is 110 m² and is well suited for families, couples and small groups looking for a quiet holiday close to nature. Bed linen is included in the stay and equipment such as bicycles, canoes, snowshoes and fishing equipment can be hired as required.
