Umfors camping

Umfors Camping is scenically located in Västerbotten by the Hemavan/Tärnaby mountains and offers a modern camping experience with all amenities in the middle of the magnificent mountain nature. The campsite is newly built and has spacious pitches, with each pitch being at least 100 square metres and equipped with a 16A power connection. Whether you stay for one night or the whole season, Umfors Camping offers a safe and comfortable stay.

On the site there is a 400 square metre service building, which is the heart of the campsite. Here you will find several facilities such as a washing machine, tumble dryer, family room with shower and baby changing table, men's and women's sections with showers and sauna, a well-equipped kitchen with induction hobs, fridges, microwaves and dishwashers, as well as a cosy TV room for relaxing. You can empty the waste water tank, dispose of rubbish and fill water. There's also a sauna with direct access to a terrace that offers stunning views of the Brakkon and Gemken mountains - perfect for relaxing after a day of activities.

The campsite also has a boules court, a playground for younger children, barbecue areas and a communal barbecue hut with room for 25 people. For fishing enthusiasts, excellent fishing waters are within walking distance, and the campsite also offers free WiFi throughout the site. Here you can really relax and enjoy the mountain environment.

Umfors Camping is surrounded by an impressive mountain landscape that offers a variety of outdoor activities and attractions. From the campsite you can hike directly out on various trails, for example to the top of Lusphobben, which offers spectacular views of Lake Överuman and the valley. There are also several smaller tours, such as the one to the Sprut'n waterfall and the Stone Church - a unique formation of stones forming a natural portal.

Hemavan Tärnaby, one of northern Sweden's largest ski areas, is just 16 km from the campsite. It offers a wide range of ski slopes for all levels, including lifts, children's areas, a snow park and Skicross Arena. In summer, the area also offers opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and fishing. For those looking for food and shopping, there is a grocery store and equipment in nearby Gränslöst, just 300 metres from the campsite.
