Welcome to Uteplassen Sogndal, an oasis of recreation that was established in 2008. With its unique location in Sogndalsdalen in Vestland, Uteplassen Sogndal is the ideal starting point for exploring a diverse palette of activities and experiences, from majestic fjords to majestic mountains in the heart of the Sognefjord.

We offer a variety of accommodation options for visitors. You can choose from our 7 apartments and 3 cabins, each with space for 4-6 people. For those who prefer camping, we also have 30 pitches for campers, caravans and tents. Our sanitary facilities provide you with showers, changing rooms, a laundry room and a kitchen for added convenience.

With Uteplassen as a base, you have the opportunity to explore some of the most iconic attractions in Sogn and the surrounding area. This includes Jostedalsbreen, Jotunheimen, the famous Flåmsbana, Nærøyfjorden, the Glacier Museum in Fjærland, the Sognefjellsvegen road, Urnes Stave Church, Skålatårnet and much more. Our affiliated guides can organize guided mountain and summit tours, both summer and winter. We also facilitate team building events, kick-offs and the like.

At Uteplassen Sogndal we offer a wide range of facilities and services. Our modern sanitary facilities include showers, changing rooms and a laundry room. Our café/restaurant has a capacity of up to 50 people and is suitable for parties and smaller courses and conferences. We also have a meeting room with space for up to 10 participants.
