Välenbadets Camping

Välenbadets Camping is a quiet beautiful & charming campsite! Located by the magnefika lake Välen in Småland, Sweden. Here visitors can enjoy a relaxing stay in nature with a range of accommodation options to choose from, including overnight cabins.

The campsite has facilities such as a small diving tower, a playground, mini golf, kayak hire, bistro and reception. The campsite has recently changed owners and is currently being renovated. It is possible to buy coffee, ice cream, soft drinks, cakes, etc. at the reception. We have a Bureger bistro where they serve fantastic burgers of Swedish master class. Välenbadets camping is an ideal place for families with children. In addition, there is a disabled toilet with a ramp and a service building offering amenities such as a shower and toilet. Visitors also have access to a laundry room, for a fee, which can be handy for longer stays.

Välenbadets Camping's Burger bistro, serves SM winning smash burgers on local hanging buttered meat. The new owners are the Swedish Championship winners in hamburgers 2022 & 2023. They won under the name Nyburgarna and have their own butchery in Fagerhult, Måketorp's meat & butchery, and their own farm with cattle. In addition to smash burgers, other tasty food from local hanging buttered meat, good sandwiches, various drinks will be offered next year, as well as much more, making it easy for visitors to get food without having to leave the campsite. Entertainment is planned in the form of troubadours and bbq evenings after 2024. There is a grocery store in the village, which has self-service 04-23 and personal service 11-18. At Välenbadets camping there is also a nice and child-friendly environment that is suitable for recreation and relaxation for both young and old. For those who want to enjoy water activities, kayaks, mini golf and there is a very nice and lovely swimming area adjacent to the campsite. Välen is a large spring lake that is known for its fine water and good fishing. Fishing licences can be bought in the shop in the village or via I-fiske on the web. It is possible to hire a boat when buying a fishing licence in the shop. At the bathing area there is also the opportunity to rent a canoe & a small flea market etc.

There are also nice hiking trails / cycle paths in connection with the campsite. One is, for example, the cycle and footpath of about 700m along fine grazed cultural lands and oak parks, which goes winding up to our nice village Fagerhult. There is a general store where you can buy most things.

At our campsite we welcome all types of campers, whether you are traveling in a motorhome, caravan or tent. We believe that every traveler has their own unique style and preferences, and we strive to create a welcoming environment for all our guests. We will be renovating and developing the campsite throughout the season. There will be more/more opportunities for activities for children, youth and adults. Like e.g. basketball, kubb, boccia etc.

We have simple logical rules of conduct at our campsite and we ask everyone to follow them. We also ask you to recycle and not litter for the sake of all of us. Rude people or visitors who do not respect opening hours or our simple rules of conduct are asked to leave the area.
