Valle camping

Valle Camping is a scenic and family-friendly campsite located in the heart of Västra Götaland, between Skara and Skövde. It offers relaxing accommodation in a peaceful environment close to lakes, culture and entertainment. The site has space for caravans, motorhomes, tents, as well as cabins and rooms - perfect for all types of travellers. In total, there are a large number of spacious and grassy campsites, many overlooking the tranquil Husgärdessjön lake.

All campsites have access to electricity, free Wi-Fi, and proximity to a service building with toilets, showers with hot water, dishwashing station, latrine emptying and a simple small self-catering kitchen. The campsite also has a wood-fired sauna on the jetty, which provides a relaxing experience with the lake as a backdrop (booked and paid separately).

Do you want to camp? There are also simple tent areas without electricity. If you prefer accommodation with a roof over your head, there are cabins and hostel rooms with their own shower and toilet - all close to nature (these can only be booked via the website).

Valle Camping is strategically located just 4 kilometres from Skara Sommarland, making it an excellent choice for families who want to be close to water slides, carousels and swimming adventures. But the area offers much more than that.

The beautiful Vallebygden region spreads out around the campsite - a landscape characterised by small lakes, meadows and hills. Here you can hike in nature reserves, take bike rides along winding country roads or enjoy an evening dip in one of the lakes.

History buffs can visit Varnhem's monastery church and Kata Gård, which offers a fascinating insight into Sweden's Christianisation. Nature lovers should not miss a visit to Lake Hornborga, where in spring you can witness the spectacular crane dance.

If you want to go shopping or to a restaurant, Skara or Skövde are only a few minutes' drive away, where there are plenty of cafés, shops, eateries and other services.

Valle Camping is open during the summer season and is a popular choice - especially during the peak season for Skara Sommarland - so it's wise to book well in advance. Check-in takes place from 15.00. The age limit for camping guests is 18 years. Everyone staying at the site must follow our rules of behaviour, which can be found in full on our website.

The campsite is adapted for larger vehicles and an EU adapter is required for electrical connection. Several pitches are right on the lake, making it easy to swim, fish or just sit and enjoy the sunset over the water.

Dogs and pets are welcome, but must be kept on a lead. The sauna on the jetty is a much appreciated feature and allows for total relaxation after an active day. It is booked and paid for separately via reception/arrival. See website for prices.
