Welcome to Valsøya, a unique camping experience located in Heim municipality, Trøndelag, by the beautiful Valsøyfjord.

Between Trondheim and Kristiansund, along the E39, we offer a perfect stop on the way to or from the famous Atlantic Road. Valsøya is not just a place, but an experience where you can enjoy the tranquility of nature with views of both mountains and fjords.

Our facility is specially designed to offer something for everyone. Whether you arrive with a tent, motorhome or caravan, there is plenty of space to set up your temporary home overlooking the sea.

Here we have everything for a comfortable stay: two modern sanitary facilities, one of which was newly renovated in 2020, shower, electricity access, and a CamperClean emptying machine for easy handling of waste, all included in the booking of your place.

For the adventurous, Valsøya offers a variety of activities. Our climbing park, opened in 2018, has trails of all levels of difficulty, from orange to red, as well as zip-liner and quick-jump, which guarantees fun for all ages. For water sports enthusiasts, we have sea kayak rentals and offer boat rentals for exploring the Valsøyfjord.

The children will love our small playground, while the whole family can enjoy sunny days at the beach or barbecue together on our prepared barbecue area on Hestholmen.

Even more experiences await outside the campsite's boundaries. Valsøytunet guest pier and marina offer a beautiful starting point for day trips by boat, with access to both electricity and water. From here you can easily get to local gems such as the Geitbåt Museum, or why not enjoy a day of raspberry picking at Valsøyfjord's own plantations?

For those looking for culinary experiences, the area offers everything from traditional Norwegian dishes in our own restaurant to beer tasting with Austmann Bryggeri.

To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for everyone, advance booking is required for all types of accommodation. It is important to note that open flames are strictly prohibited between caravans, tents or motorhomes for fire safety reasons.

We encourage all our guests to use the prepared barbecue areas on Hestholmen for a safe and pleasant barbecue experience.
