Good to know

Varangertunet is open year-round, and each season has its own charm. In summer you can enjoy long, bright nights, bird watching, fishing trips and mountain hikes. In winter it is ideal for northern lights hunting and the silence of the Arctic nature.

The motorhome pitches are easily accessible with good access from the main road (E75). It is recommended to reserve a space in advance during the high season, as the number of spaces is limited. Electricity is included in the pitch, and water can be filled on site. Remember that waste water and toilet emptying must be done at the emptying station in Vadsø.

The guesthouse also offers breakfast, dinner and other meals on request – based on local ingredients such as reindeer, fish and berries from the area. Pets are allowed on the premises, and the staff is happy to help with tour suggestions or local experiences.

Whether you are traveling by camper, motorcycle or looking for a warm room in the north, Varangertunet gives you a unique experience of Finnmark's nature, tranquility and hospitality. This is the place for you who want to experience the real Northern Norway - close to nature, history and people.
