Vilshärads Camping - Halmstad

Vilshärads Camping is located in scenic Vilshärad, 15 minutes from Halmstad on the west coast. Within walking distance is a kilometer-long sandy beach with lovely sand dunes, a large nature reserve with many different walking paths and probably Scandinavia's highest sand hill.

With us you can enjoy the peace and nature. The campsite has a small shop and an ice cream parlor. We have a boules court, outdoor chess and we rent out miniature golf, drinking boards, bikes and tandem bikes.

In total, there are over 147 camping pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents. Most sites have a hedge behind them and are on grass, which gives a lush relaxing feeling. All of the pitches have 10 ampere electricity.

The service houses have access to toilets, showers, changing rooms and laundry facilities. If you are disabled, there is of course access to your own bathroom and shower. The kitchens are equipped with stoves, ovens and microwaves (25-year limit in July).

Vilshärad offers so much more than a sandy beach and a fantastic nature reserve. There are two restaurants with both ala carte and pizza, one with rights. We have a glassworks where you can blow your own glass art, a farm shop, a clothes barn and football golf.

In the natural harbor, which is a short distance from the facility, you will find Halmstad's best crab fishing. And next door to Vilshärad is Ringenäs Golf Course and a little further away you will find some more fine golf courses.

Halmstad is undoubtedly one of Sweden's most popular tourist destinations with lots of activities for people of all ages.

For families with children, Leo's playground is an obvious favorite. Or why not visit Sannarpsbadets Äventyrsbad with water slides, whirlpool and wonderful exercise and activity pools. The go-kart halls at Slottsmöllan offer an indoor track and are therefore perfect whatever the weather.

Tylösand with its vibrant nightlife and cozy restaurants is 7 km away from Vilshärads Camping. There are nightclubs, bars and outdoor cafes that are open until the wee hours. Inside Leif's Lounge at Hotell Tylösand, you can take part in world artist Per Gessle's exhibition of his and the Roxettes' gold records and instruments, which are now historic. During the summer, lots of guest performances take place here. Don't miss it!

Other destinations are Heagårds Skafferi, Syltfabriken Hafi, Wapnö Gårdsbutik, Mostorps Gård and Strandskatorna.

If you want to go on even longer excursions, you can do as many others take a shopping trip to Gekås in Ullared or a day trip to our dear neighboring country Denmark.

Vilshärads Camping is open from the end of April to the end of August. Exact dates vary from year to year. Exact dates for full service also vary but usually around midsummer to early August when the reception is also open from early morning to late evening.

The area is adapted for the disabled. Access to wifi is available.
