Tucked between ancient pine forests and the shimmering blue of the Costa Brava, Wecamp L'Escala Punta Milà is a place where time slows down and every breath carries the scent of the sea. Set within the protected landscape of the Montgrí Natural Park, the Medes Islands and the Baix Ter, this is camping at its most elemental — nature all around, comfort taken care of, and the sparkling Mediterranean just a short stroll away.
Wecamp L'Escala Punta Milà offers glamping tents and pitches designed to blend effortlessly into their natural surroundings, without ever asking you to compromise on well-being. The campsite's facilities — pool, restaurant, supermarket, kids club and sports area — mean that everything you need for a genuinely relaxed holiday is right here, under the shade of the pines. Whether you arrive as a couple looking for a quiet escape, a family ready to discover this legendary stretch of coastline, or a group of friends chasing sun, sea and good food, the unhurried spirit of L'Escala will meet you at the gate and never let you go.

L'Escala is one of those rare Costa Brava towns that has held on to its soul. The old fishing quarter, the working harbour and the weekly market all speak of a community with deep roots in the land and sea. The Greco-Roman ruins of Empúries — one of the most remarkable archaeological sites on the Iberian Peninsula — are practically on the doorstep, and the Camino de Ronda coastal path winds its way between hidden coves and clifftop viewpoints that seem almost too beautiful to be real.
The Montgrí Natural Park offers trails on foot and by e-bike through Mediterranean scrubland and pine forest, with the Punta Ventosa and the old Bunkers among the most rewarding routes. The Medes Islands, a protected marine reserve, are a short boat ride away and among the best snorkelling and scuba diving spots on the entire Spanish coast. The beaches and coves around L'Escala — broad sandy stretches and intimate rocky inlets alike — offer some of the clearest water on the Costa Brava. Nearby towns including Cadaqués, Begur, Pals and the medieval city of Girona are all within easy reach for day trips.
The campsite holds Biosphere certification. The wecamp app is recommended for activity bookings, restaurant reservations and access to the digital local guide. Pets are welcome in selected accommodations and on pitches (supplement applies). The Medes Islands marine reserve has strict access rules — snorkelling and diving trips must be booked through a licensed operator. The ruins of Empúries are a short cycle or walk from the campsite along the seafront path. L'Escala is a year-round town with a real local life, but June and September offer the ideal combination of warm weather, open sea and a gentler pace. The cancellation policy follows the standard Wecamp General Contract Terms — free cancellation up to 12:00 noon on the deadline date shown at booking; late cancellation incurs a one-night charge; no refund for no-shows or early departures.
