The Abenteuerland campsite in the idyllic district of Höxter in North Rhine-Westphalia is a unique holiday destination for nature lovers, adventurers and community enthusiasts of all ages. On an area of over 13,700 m², surrounded by dense woodland on the edge of the Eggegebirge mountains, you can expect an experience close to nature in a peaceful and rural setting - ideal for camping holidays, groups, families, school classes and individual travellers.

The site offers four spacious tent pitches with room for a total of around 200 people as well as modern sanitary facilities. Motorhomes and caravans are of course also very welcome. Those who prefer more comfort will find a cosy temporary home in our flats or original tree houses - perfect for those who want to combine nature and adventure but don't want to camp.

A special highlight: the site has 1,200 m² of covered areas that offer shelter even in rainy weather - including tents under a roof! A large saloon, forest huts and the flower café can be hired for parties and events - from children's birthday parties to weddings.

A small kiosk, a cold store for storing your own provisions and the option of self-catering make your stay flexible and independent. On request, we are happy to help with the organisation of catering, drinks or supporting programmes - be it a campfire, music or entertainment.

The region around the Abenteuerland campsite is ideal for numerous outdoor activities and exciting excursions. Hiking and cycling trails through the beautiful Eggegebirge mountains start right on the doorstep - a real paradise for nature lovers. Those who like to explore should visit the nearby stalactite caves, museums or leisure pools - all within easy reach.

Cultural highlights can also be found in the surrounding area, for example in the charming towns of Brakel, Warburg or Bad Driburg, with their cafés, restaurants, boutiques and historic town centres. The good connection via the A44 motorway ensures an uncomplicated journey, even for shorter stays.

The campsite is open all year round and offers the best conditions for both summer and winter campers. Prior inspection is possible by telephone arrangement. Dogs are allowed and groups are very welcome - whether for a short trip or a large event.
