The pitch "**Weitblick "** is idyllically situated in the small village of Bucha in Thuringia - bordering the so-called land of a thousand ponds. Surrounded by rolling hills, forests and wide meadows, this charming pitch offers a breathtaking view to match its name. If you are looking for peace, nature and a touch of rural romance, this is the place for you.

The pitches are located on a spacious private plot on the edge of a field and are suitable for motorhomes and campervans. The facilities include a simple but well-kept infrastructure: there is a paved surface, electricity, water, a disposal facility for grey water as well as showers and toilets. The site is slightly sloping, quiet and ideal for couples, single travellers or small groups looking to slow down.

The hospitality of the owners is particularly noteworthy - if you wish, you can buy products such as drinks, honey and quail eggs on site.

Bakers, butchers and petrol stations arealso just 2 km from the pitch.

The area around Bucha is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Thuringia. The "land of a thousand ponds" is a true paradise for nature lovers, hikers and cyclists. Idyllic paths lead directly from the pitch through fields and forests, past ponds and viewpoints.

The Thuringian Forest Biosphere Reserve and the famous Saale Valley Route are nearby and are perfect for exploring on foot or by bike. The region also offers exciting birdwatching opportunities for bird lovers - the pond landscapes are home to many rare species.

Just a few kilometres away is the town of Ziegenrück, where you will find a supermarket, restaurants, hydroelectric power museum, ice cream parlour and boat hire. It can also be reached via a wonderful 5 km walk on old railway tracks through tunnels and along a stream directly from the campsite. Other excursion destinations include the fairy grottoes in Saalfeld, the Bleiloch reservoir and the Hohenwart reservoir or the picturesque villages around the Thuringian Slate Mountains.

Getting to the Zum Weitblick pitch is straightforward - an access road via the local road leads directly to the entrance. The location is absolutely quiet, with no through traffic, which guarantees a relaxing stay.

The owners live on the neighbouring farm and welcome guests personally. Prior booking is recommended, especially in the high season. The site is open from Easter at the beginning of April until 30 October.

Dogs are allowed as long as they are kept on a lead. The use of electricity, fresh water and showers is optional and can be booked as required.
