Rhyl & Suzi would like to welcome you to their campsite located in the heart of Swedish Lapland, Åskilje is a wonderfully sleepy little village, surrounded by stunningly beautiful scenery. Enjoy a quiet and relaxing break and breathe in the clean, fresh air, or explore Sweden's countryside by boat or bike to fully appreciate nature in all its splendour!

Our campsite is located in a unique part of this country with a spot where 2 rivers meet, creating a vast and open view that feels like the perfect lakeside campsite. It really is stunning and we have kept our site as rustic and natural as possible with handmade signs and a variety of berries on the ground, including blueberries and lingonberries.

Don't be fooled though, we have a luxury shower and toilet block kept clean and warm just for you!

Åskilje is a small village between Storuman and Lycksele in northern Sweden. Located on the E12, the village consists of a handful of houses owned by some of the most wonderfully humble and friendly people you could wish to meet. You will feel very welcome here and encouraged to explore the rivers and forests that surround us. The campsite is a great place to spend a few days relaxing in a peaceful environment, or alternatively a place to enjoy nature for all it has to offer including rowing, cycling, fishing and walking. A beautiful and peaceful but full of life village on the dramatic blue highway shores of Swedish Lapland.

The Blue Highway is the affectionate name for the E12, which runs all the way to the north-west coast of Finland and continues from the Swedish border through Lapland into Norway. It's so called because of the beautiful, endless waterways and there's so much to explore along the way while witnessing the spectacular, changing landscapes.
