Berkinge Bad & Fiskecamp

Berkinge Bad & Fiskecamp is located in Uppland, idyllically surrounded by the beautiful Swedish nature. Our campsite is a restored mill pond in an old mill environment that gives the campsite a unique identity and feel. Here we also have a large fine swimming facility and the fishing is top class. Come and experience it for yourself!

The campsite consists of a total of 15 hectares of fine grass. So here you'll find all the space for play and games you could possibly want.

The campsite's large swimming facility is extremely popular and has both diving towers, trampolines, bathing jetties and water slides. We even have one of Sweden's longest water slides called free fall with us. There are also water slides more suitable for smaller children. Changing rooms and disabled toilets are located next to the pool. You parents can imagine how excited the children are to play with all their energy in the swimming facility.

• Swimming pool 10:00 - 18:00
• Water showers 10:00 - 17:00

In the camping area we also have an old mill that has been renovated into a fully licensed restaurant/grill. We also organise communal events in the restaurant.

Here you can also fish for rainbow trout, pike, perch and whitefish. Fishing licences are available at the reception and the campsite also offers rowing boats for hire. You can then cook the day's catch according to your own recipe on some of the designated campfire / barbecue areas in the campsite area. We also have fishing equipment for sale. Permitted fishing gear is spinning, fly and mete.

Adjacent to the campsite there is also a very nice mini golf course.

At the reception you will find a kiosk and mini food.

The campsite is secluded with Gävle and Uppsala 68 km and 72 km from the campsite. Here it is first and foremost nature experiences and smaller towns that the area has to offer you dear visitors.

Here you are free to wander around or cycle along the fine trails and explore. We promise that the surroundings will not leave you disappointed.

The campsite is surrounded by smaller towns and villages, each with something different to offer. Here we can for example mention Öregrund about 30 km from the campsite which is a very popular coastal town to visit during the summer period. Every year, the Boat Week is also organised in Öregrund, which is a festival week with something for all ages to offer. The author himself knows a person born and raised in Öregrund who highly recommends the town a visit!

Östhammar is another popular destination with a cosy small town feel hanging in the air. Here, life goes at a leisurely pace, which is good for the soul.

The campsite also offers caravan hire for use within the camping area. Prices range from SEK 300 to SEK 600 per day depending on size.
