Charlottsborgs Camping & Vandrarhem

Book a pitch and you will be able to choose a spot on arrival if you book with electricity; if you book without electricity or a motorhome stopover pitch, you will be allocated a place on the campsite. We also have many drop-in pitches.

Charlottsborgs Camping & Hostel is situated in a beautiful, park-like area (in summer), located just under 2.2 km (7 minutes) from central Kristianstad. The campsite has direct bus connections to the town and can therefore offer both shopping and beautiful nature just around the corner. Here you will find something for the whole family in a calm and peaceful setting.

The campsite consists of approximately 80 pitches intended for caravans or motorhomes.

In the small yellow wooden building you will find the service block, where there are children’s and shower rooms as well as dishwashing facilities. Right next to it you will find the small red house, which forms the second part of the service block. Here you will find toilets, a laundry room, cooking facilities, as well as a disposal point for chemical toilets; the greywater drain is located just outside the toilet disposal and can be driven over.

We are a small and simple campsite, far from the large giants, but we offer personal and pleasant service. Common sense is our greatest and foremost rule, for as long as it works.

As mentioned above, the centre is a 7-minute bus ride from Kristianstad. Kristianstad was founded in the 17th century by Christian IV and has always been one of the hubs for all kinds of trade. In the city of Kristianstad you will find more than 200 shops and various companies. Here you will experience a wonderful atmosphere with a naturally beautiful city centre where cultural impulses meet charming small streets and town squares. Sit down at one of the city's many restaurants and cafés and enjoy a relaxing coffee or dinner and lunch.

Around Kristianstad you can find nice roads to cycle on, or why not take a walking tour and discover the local area. Large parts of Kristianstad are best experienced by bike. There are several tours you can take to discover the areas around the beautiful city. The Kristianstad tour is a lovely and urban tour where you get to experience a lot of nature. You follow Helge Å and Hammarsjön out to Ekenabben, which is a perfect place for a break before it is time to cycle back towards the city centre. The tour in question is about 9 km long and perfect for a cosy day trip in the city.

If you want to take a little detour in the tour, you will also find Naturum Vattenriket. You'll find the Vattenriket visitor centre right in the centre of Kristianstad. Here you can explore a fantastic exhibition. Either with a guide or all by yourself. Try looking for marlins in the stream next door, look at the fish in the fine aquarium or watch animals through the large and wide panoramic windows.

Kristianstad and nearby Åhus also offer several hiking areas to explore during your stay. Among other things, you will find Skåneleden here. Hike in the city, on the coast or in the forest. You'll find it all here!

Don't miss a visit to the old 13th century castle Bäckaskog Castle where you can enjoy cultural history and beautiful surroundings.

Other popular activities around the city and Charlottsborgs Camping & Vandrarhem are Tivoli Park and the Railway Museum.

Charlottsborgs Camping & Hostel is open all year round. Dogs are welcome here and Wi-Fi is available on the premises free of charge. Facilities are limited during the low season.
