Reserve a pitch and you will be able to choose a pitch upon arrival if you book with electricity. If you book without electricity or a motorhome pitch, you will be assigned a pitch on the campsite. We also have many drop-in pitches. We would appreciate receiving an approximate time of arrival from you.

Charlottsborgs Camping & Hostel is situated in a beautiful park-like area (in summer), located just under 2.2 km (7 minutes) from central Kristianstad. The campsite has direct bus connections to the town and can therefore offer both shopping and beautiful nature right around the corner. Here you will find something for the whole family in a calm and peaceful setting.

The campsite consists of approximately 80 pitches intended for caravans or motorhomes.

In the small yellow wooden building you will find the service building, where there are children’s and shower rooms as well as washing-up facilities. Right next to it you will find the small red house, which forms the second part of the service building. Here you will find toilets, a laundry room, a cooking area, as well as a disposal point for toilet waste; the grey water drain is located just outside the toilet waste emptying point and may be driven over.

We are a small and simple campsite, far from the big giants, but we offer personal and pleasant service. Common sense is our primary and most important rule, for as long as it works.

As mentioned above, the site is located a 7-minute bus ride from Kristianstad. Kristianstad was founded as early as the 17th century by Christian IV and has always been one of the hubs for all kinds of trade. In the city of Kristianstad you will find more than 200 shops and various businesses. Here you can enjoy a wonderful atmosphere with a naturally beautiful city centre where cultural impressions meet charming narrow streets and town squares. Take a seat at one of the city’s many restaurants and cafés and enjoy a relaxing coffee break, dinner or lunch.

All around Kristianstad you can find excellent cycling routes, or why not go for a hike and discover the surrounding area. Large parts of Kristianstad are best experienced by bicycle. There are several routes you can take to explore the areas around this beautiful city. The Kristianstad route is a delightful tour close to the city where you will experience a great deal of nature. You follow the River Helge Å and Lake Hammarsjön out to Ekenabben, which is a perfect place for a break before it is time to cycle back towards the city centre. The route in question is approximately 9 km long and perfect for a pleasant day trip in the city.

If you would like to make a small detour during your tour, you can also visit Naturum Vattenriket. The Vattenriket Visitor Centre is located right in the centre of Kristianstad. Here you can explore a fantastic exhibition, either with a guide or entirely on your own. Try looking for freshwater shrimp in the nearby brook, watch the fish in the beautiful aquarium, or observe wildlife through the large panoramic windows.

Kristianstad and nearby Åhus also offer several hiking areas to explore during your stay. Among other things, you will find the Skåneleden Trail here. Hike in the city, along the coast or in the forest. You will find everything here!

Do not miss a visit to the old 13th-century castle, Bäckaskog Castle, where you can enjoy cultural history and beautiful surroundings.

Other popular activities around the city and Charlottsborgs Camping & Hostel include Tivoliparken and the Railway Museum.

Charlottsborgs Camping & Hostel is open all year round. Dogs are welcome here and Wi-Fi is available on the premises (but cannot be guaranteed) and is free of charge! Facilities are limited during the low season.
