At Daftö Resort, 5 km south of Strömstad, you are greeted by a distinct scent of seaweed, salt, and adventure.

Daftö is a five-star campsite and resort with cabins, touring pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, a hotel and a guest marina. Here you can stay in one of the 130 cabins, check in at the Pirate Hotel, moor your boat in the guest marina or stay in your own caravan/motorhome or tent, all year round. Choose a sea view or proximity to the Daftöland amusement park. All touring pitches for caravans/motorhomes have electric hook-up, TV connection and water and wastewater connection. Hot water is always included as well as free Wi-Fi. The cabins vary in size and standard, from small, simple 2-bed cabins to well-equipped and exclusive 8-bed cabins with shower, toilet and dishwasher.

There is plenty to do for both adults and children. During the summer, the Daftö pirates take adventure-seekers on crazy escapades at the resort, in the archipelago or at Daftöland. Daftöland is an amusement park with rides, games and park pirates. Do not miss the trip to Treasure Island together with the pirates or the Daftö Challenge for the whole family.

Daftö Resort's location on the west coast makes it an ideal base for exploring Bohuslän. Just a short drive from the resort is Strömstad, a charming seaside town with a wealth of shops, restaurants and cafés. Stroll along the harbour and enjoy fresh seafood or experience the town's maritime atmosphere.

If you want to discover more of Bohuslän, we recommend a boat trip to the Koster Islands, one of Sweden's sunniest spots. If you're lucky, you might spot the odd harbour seal in the Kosterhavet National Park on your way there. Go ashore at Ursholmen and hike up to Sweden's westernmost lighthouse for a panoramic view with a glimpse of Norway on the horizon. Learn about the history of the lighthouse keepers who lived there in the past or experience real shrimp fishing during an archipelago tour at sea.

Other popular destinations include the Tjurpannan and Saltö nature reserves, where you can hike among granite cliffs and enjoy outstanding views. For history buffs, a trip to Vitlycke Museum with its World Heritage-protected rock carvings is recommended.

There are several different service buildings with, among other things, toilets, showers, laundry facilities, kitchens and dishwashing rooms. Everything is provided to make your stay as smooth and comfortable as possible.

The campsite is pet-friendly, so you can bring your four-legged friend on holiday. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the area, and the reception is happy to assist with recommendations for excursions and activities. If you wish to rent a bicycle or kayak, or book a boat trip to Koster, you can do so directly on site.
