Kapellskärs Camping

Situated in the enchanting Riddersholm nature reserve, framed by magnificent natural surroundings and with the Sea of Åland as its closest neighbour, lies Kapellskärs Camping. This is the destination for those who wish to enjoy tranquillity and peaceful surroundings.

The campsite offers 71 pitches, 48 of which have electricity, 24 pitches are designated for motorhomes with electricity and water at the post, 15 delightful tent pitches, 12 cabins and 9 rooms in the hostel.

There are 3 service buildings with a total of 12 toilets and showers, 6 of which are family showers, as well as laundry facilities and a baby changing room.

You will find a modern and fresh kitchen where you can prepare your meals, and lovely outdoor seating areas where you can sit and enjoy your meals during those magical summer days.

From the campsite to the sea it is approximately 800 metres. Here you stay with close access to the nature of Roslagen. The Riddersholm Nature Reserve offers a magnificent coastal landscape with a wealth of rare plants and animals. Along the 20 km of trails that run through the reserve you can explore the area on your own, either on foot or by boat, canoe or bicycle, all of which can be rented at the campsite.

The campsite offers a wide range of activities suitable for the entire party. Children have access to a well-maintained playground together with a pétanque court, and can also play football, volleyball and badminton if desired. There is also a 9-hole miniature golf course with clubs for both adults and children. The fee is paid at the reception, where you will also receive balls and scorecards. And is any camping holiday truly complete without appointing an annual winner in miniature golf?

At the reception there is also a kiosk with a basic selection of goods such as ice cream, frozen ready meals, coffee and pastries.

If you feel a desire to exercise during your stay, there are numerous jogging and hiking trails throughout the area. With the proximity to the sea, many visitors find the fresh air and the delightful views to be an extra motivation for their training.

Kapellskärs Camping is open from the end of April until mid-September. During the low season, the reception is staffed Sun–Thu 17:00–19:00 and Fri–Sat 13:00–19:00. During the high season, we are open 08:00–20:00 every day.

The campsite is adapted for guests with reduced mobility. Wi-Fi is available on the site. Dogs are welcome.
