Lovsjöbadens Camping is a gem located in the heart of Småland, right by the scenic Lake Lovsjön, just south of Jönköping. It is the perfect destination for anyone seeking peace and quiet in a beautiful setting with excellent access to both nature and modern conveniences.

The site offers a total of 13 cottages, three of which are located right by the lake – these cottages offer a fantastic lake view but do not have a shower or toilet. For those who prefer more comfort, there are seven cottages in a charming cottage village, all equipped with a shower and toilet. In addition, there is a newly renovated croft with a separate bedroom, sleeping loft, kitchen and bathroom, and besides these also a retro-style cottage, perfect for 2 persons, with a 160 cm queen-size bed. For those who prefer traditional camping, Lovsjöbadens Camping offers approximately 90 pitches, 75 of which have electricity, providing ample space for both motorhomes and tents.

The campsite offers a range of facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The reception, which also serves as a small convenience shop, offers a limited selection of groceries, toiletries, beverages and ice cream. Here you can also rent kayaks, canoes and rowing boats. For children there is a very small but cosy playground on the meadow, and for those who wish to barbecue, grills are available to borrow. If you would like to try darts, there is an opportunity for this as well. In the shop you can also enjoy a traditional Swedish fika with coffee and pastries, and pre-order freshly baked bread and buns for collection or delivery directly to your pitch.

If it is fully booked online, there are usually a few drop-in pitches available, but please contact us in advance to be sure of securing a place.

Lovsjöbadens Camping offers not only a wonderful camping experience but also proximity to several interesting attractions and activities. Just a few minutes away by car you will find Jönköping, a vibrant city with a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops. There is something to suit every taste here, whether you are looking for a fine dinner, a cosy café visit or a bit of shopping.

Within 8 km you will find, among other things, Tabergstoppen, a fantastically beautiful viewpoint with a restaurant/minigolf, as well as the incredibly striking mine in Norrahammar.

For those who wish to explore nature, there are many hiking and cycling trails in the area, including Dumme Mosse. The forests surrounding the campsite are perfect for walks and cycle tours, and the beautiful Lake Lovsjön offers excellent opportunities for fishing and paddling. If you are interested in culture, you can visit some of the many museums, such as Husqvarna Museum and the Match Museum, and the galleries in Jönköping, or take a day trip to Gränna and Visingsö, two popular tourist destinations nearby.

To ensure that your stay at Lovsjöbadens Camping is as pleasant as possible, there are a few things that are good to know. The campsite has good mobile coverage, so you can easily stay in touch with the outside world, and there is also access to free Wi-Fi, although coverage may vary depending on the number of users and the weather. During high season it is recommended to book in advance, as pitches are quickly fully booked. Do not forget to bring insect repellent, especially on summer evenings, as the area around the lake can be mosquito-ridden.

The reception has generous opening hours and the staff are always ready to assist with information and recommendations for activities. Check-in is from 13:00 and check-out is no later than 11:00 for the campsite, while the cottages have check-in from 15:00. It is also possible to order breakfast rolls, which makes the morning feel a little extra luxurious. Last but not least, be sure to follow the campsite’s rules and respect the other guests so that everyone can enjoy their stay in this beautiful and peaceful environment.
