Welcome to Överhörnäs Camping – perhaps the coziest campsite along the entire Northern Coast of Sweden! We are a personal, family-owned retreat that for the 2026 season offers 60 spacious pitches and 9 charming cabins in a peaceful oasis by the Moälven river.
Experience our unique "family hood" atmosphere, perfect for both relaxation and adventure. Guests enjoy free access to kayaks, rowing boats, and Wi-Fi. For your comfort, we have opened a brand-new, modern service building for 2026, featuring increased capacity for showers and toilets. The site also features our popular fully licensed restaurant and bar, where you can enjoy great food and drinks with a view of the water.

Överhörnäs Camping is beautifully situated by Själevadsfjärden, just 9 km south of Örnsköldsvik. It serves as an ideal base for exploring the High Coast World Heritage site and its breathtaking nature. If you enjoy shopping, the famous Fjällräven Outlet is located nearby. You can easily reach Örnsköldsvik city center by bus or bicycle. The Moälven river runs alongside the campsite, inviting you to swim, fish, or enjoy a peaceful day on the water.

En jättefin ställplats/camping som vi återvänt till och gärna gör det igen. Välordnat, trevliga värdar, god mat, vad kan man mer begära! Ett extra plus till alla roliga belysningsidéer :-)

Brilliant!! I have never seen cleaner facilities, and the pitch sizes were great. Even with a campsite over half full- it felt quiet and peaceful. Excellent view of the water.

Första riktiga campingplatsen sedan vi blev med husbil. Bra plats. Väldigt lungt trots ganska fullbokat. Fyra stjärnor på allt eftersom jag inte riktigt har något att jämföra med.

Hej Mikael! Stort tack för er recension och för att ni valde att bo hos oss på er allra första riktiga campingtur med husbilen! Vad roligt att ni fick en fin och lugn vistelse trots att det var ganska fullt. Vi köper helt din logik kring fyran – det känns ju rimligt att spara lite marginal när man är ute på sin första tur! Men när ni har rullat vidare, samlat lite mer jämförelsematerial och sett vad andra ställen har att erbjuda, får du mer än gärna komma tillbaka och uppdatera till den femte stjärnan om vi står oss i konkurrensen. 😉 Stort lycka till med husbilslivet, så hoppas vi att vi ses längs vägarna igen!
